Re: Crazy funnies

Old Mother Hubbard,
Went to the cupboard,
To get her daughter a dress.
When she got there,
The cupboard was bare,
And so was her daughter, I guess...

Re: Anti-theft device

I agree, Moon. You never forget. I learned how to drive a stick at Lake Tahoe in the winter. Mountain roads with some steep hills and snow. If you can drive a stick there, you can drive a stick anywhere! Recently I've acquired a Chevy HHR from my mom. Before that I had a Chevy S-10 pickup 4 speed fo...

Re: Moving to San Francisco bay area

San Francisco is definitely not what it used to be. I first visited SF in 1977 when I was living up at Lake Tahoe. At that time I really liked SF because it was so clean for a big city. Since then I've traveled a lot [traveling musician... actually made a decent living traveling and playing music!] ...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

This morning while having coffee with friends at a local coffeehouse [sort of a Sunday ritual] my friend said, "Did you see that guy walk by in a skirt?" I had my back turned to the sidewalk and missed him as he walked by. I got up and looked down the sidewalk. He was wearing a plaid pleated skirt a...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

Here's a pic me at a gig last month. The guitar player said, "You really know how to pull it off, wearing kilts and skirts! Mind if I take a pic?" I had no problems whatsoever. Last night I wore a 21" denim skirt, black t-shirt, and sandals. No comments from anyone, audience, employees, or band memb...

"... Range master said ‘That HAS to be a lot cooler’. I just smiled said yep and kept sending lead downrange..." Looking good... nice kilt! Where did you get it from? Also... are you wearing hose or tights in this pic? Looks great! --Rick It’s a Utilikilt. See my post above about the kilt. And yes,...

Re: Flower Boy at Wedding

I wear skirts because I want to. No further explanation is necessary or even desirable. Most people deal with it. Some don't. I don't care either way. Why? Because I am a man. No excuses, and no apologies... My thoughts exactly. I don't try to analyze myself to figure out why I like to wear kilts a...

Alright minding your P's and Q's is one thing but doing it on the PDQ is totally another. How many of you know what PDQ stands for :?:  Hi Fred, Either Pretty Darn Quick or Pretty D**n Quick, depending on your leaning towards swearing! --Rick Give the man a Blue Ribbon :!: :!: :!:  Thanks...
