Re: Harry Styles again
I agree with Jamie to a point. The same point has been made by others in the cafe and in the media: Men have boxed themselves in with the fear of being a sissy. Both men and women are keeping men boxed in, women because they say " it's a no from me" and men by being so afraid of being cal...

Re: Intimate Medical Issues
Not quite intimate but on my last diabetic review I was having my feet tested for feeling. When the doctor does it I'm asked to lie down and he sits at the end and prods my feet with his plastic tool thing. Enter a young nurse, this time I'm sat in the chair is a shortish skirt while she sits on a ...

Re: What feminine items do you wear?
Sorry, what's femmine again? One grows with indoor plumbing and one with outdoor plumbing. No major differences. Both run around, eat, sleep and poop. Both have emotions, both are courageous. Why would anyone find differences where there aren't any and attribute bits of cloth to one or the other. Th...

Re: skirts for men
Naturally, there is no direct corollary in womenswear, females adopted a whole different approach. The simply created open season on menswear and in many ways, took it from us. Men in the meantime, barely raised a murmur and here we are today. No angst at all when the female of the species proudly ...

Re: Sir Garyson Perry is "just a man who likes to wear dresses"
I have just watched my first interview with Grayson Perry. He's a man after my own heart. That is to say I hearty agreed with what he said. I.also.found he had a programme about masculinity on C4 which I 100% missed 7 years ago. It's a shame that his wise words have been washed away and nobody has t...

Thanks Jamie, I've been with my wife since 1999 and no plans to look elsewhere. She's enormously supportive.

Re: What have you discovered through wearing skirts and dresses?
Jamie, I'm realistic. Unless a man in a skirt is already in a relationship he is unlikely to find a female partner. Thats just the way it is. In general women find it easier than men to find a partner. Women can afford to be a bit more choosy with a league of hopefully men buzzing around them. If yo...

Re: What have you discovered through wearing skirts and dresses?
Thinking about the comments to this thread, as well as the link.... So, if a woman reacts positively to a man in skirts, it is likely that he is: 1. Accepted as, but merely as, a casual acquaintance. or.... 2. Taken in as one of the girls. She is more than likely showing support for him, recognisin...

Re: Skirts in Schools - No hope for boys
I just made a comparison exercise on my side. Let's take the four closest people (of each sex) I've had the last year around me, making eight people. I can't extend the sample, however, due to lack of people around me (I can find males at work, but no female at all). In the male's side: brother is ...

Re: Skirts in Schools - No hope for boys
A lot of sense being spoken by Mr seamstress, Jamie, timemeddler and coder. I would slightly disagree that it's not what women are teaching their children. It's what men and women are teaching their children. I think its more noticeable when women are outspoken in this manner. I somehow expect them ...

Re: The boundary between skirt wearer and TV
I not saying that our lives are missing skirts, I think everyone's lives are missing skirts. They are a happy place. Have your ever overheard a woman say that...she doesn't want to wear a dress for the rest of her life? If some people like to wear skirts, other people prefer trousers. They prefer t...

Absolutely Stevie, you've been fighting the fascism of clothes since you were a able to sneak dress into your bedroom.
