I love a bodycon mini but there can definitely be rising issues. Smaller steps definitely helps, but some fabrics are just slidier than others, especially if you're wearing them over bare skin. It's a common problem, you'll frequently see women wearing bodycon minis tugging at their hem :D

Yesterday's work outfit, comprising a bias-cut skirt from ASOS and a boat-neck top from Dorothy Perkins, with my usual ankle boots. I do love a boat-neck, I definitely think they help obfuscate the broadness of my shoulders.
