The photograph that apparently caused offence shows far less anatomy than is on display on any beach on a sunny day; what's the problem? We're not on a beach. If the people who seem to have taken over this forum can't see the problem, or worse yet, enjoy looking at photos of men flashing their undi...

Re: here's the picture again

Here is the shot that I posted earlier. I think it got lost during the migration to the new software. Once again, I emphasize that I'm posting this picture to emphasize how important it is to sit properly in a skirt, especially a short one like I was wearing. I'm doing this to share the embarassing...

I wouldn't worry too much about it being marketed towards gay men. Many fashions have been pushed forward for all of us by gay men. If they (gay men) are the boldest and get things more accepted for us all then I think it's a good thing.

I'd like to beg to disagree. (I always like to play the Devil's Advocate.. it's more fun and it helps getting a critical view) The Belgian constitution starts with the clause 'all belgians are equal'. I suppose a similar law exists in the US. This should be enough reason not to discriminate against...

I like that. It's long overdue. Now to get it in effect in other states.

Re: Tattooing & Piercing is Fashion Freedom

Sure tattooing & piercing are technically forms of body modification but tattooing & piercing are historically forms of self expression just as the quest for fashion freedom. Historically, if you go back far enough, tattoos and piercing were a tribal means of fitting in and looking like the...

I'm sure you get some sick satisfaction from showing your shortcomings to all of us, but not all of us wish to see your "upskirt" shots.

My disbelief not withstanding and irrelevant to this subject, I would say that in an organization such as the church, any dress code should be clear and provable by scripture. If they expect you to follow the laws of the church, they need to be able to show you those laws in writing. I wouldn't acce...

Hi Skip. I kind of got tired of the same old stuff. It was boring the crap out of me. lol. Maybe I'm just jaded. I've been wearing whatever I want to for almost 3 years so it just holds no more excitement for me. It's been 3 years of the same conversations and the same subjects and I've pretty much ...

He's wearing pants. He's holding his jacket in front of himself. It could look like a skirt at a quick glance.

Hi everyone - I'm a new member of the Skirt cafe. I just want to say that I am very glad that I found this place, as I've been looking for some sort of online support for a couple of months and have only found transgender sites, tranvestite sites and stuff like that - which made me feel so left out...

Yeah, you know if women only had kids by men who like skirts, the violent crime rate would get so low the police force could retire. Marrying rough men, however, usually has the opposite effect, because like creates like. Not all of us who wear skirts are soft! Most of us don't change our demeaner ...

I've been an a**

Hey all, Mainly to Bob, Sometimes it takes a tragedy to help us realize what we ourselves have done. I just learned today of CitySkirt's shut down. Going through the threads and reading DanR's site Q&A, I got to thinking... Just a few people albeit very vocal people expressing dissent and hatred...

Interesting question. I've discussed cowboy boots here in Texas the same way. In 1978 when I lived in Rhode Island I bought a pair of mens shoes with a 5 inch heel and a 2 or 3 inch platform sole. They were popular in some areas in the disco era. No one called them Hi-heels, even though they were, b...
