Re: Sightings "in the wild"
Back in early October I'm nearly certain I saw a man wearing a modern plain dark-coloured kilt cycling in Dublin city centre. I was walking in the opposite direction and only realised it after he had passed. However there was another sighting I am absolutely certain of. Also in October I saw a man....

Re: Re - Deathbed Regrets
Naas Rush-hour Traffic.jpg Ahem. Don't the Irish, like the Brits, drive on the left-hand side of the road rather than on the right-hand? (Note: I did not comment on the "correct" side of the road.) A motorway of the dimensions pictured might occupy a non-trivial portion of the Irish lands...

Re: Catholic School Bans Skirts
Pity schools wouldn't just let all pupils, both boys and girls, just wear what they want. Uniforms are about control, something the catholic church has always been preoccupied with. Schools should be for the spreading of knowledge, not for mind control. True - BUT when the child can wear "what...

I should also have pointed out that these surveys are completely unscientific. If anyone has evidence to the contrary feel free to point us toward it.pleated wrote:So, who defines "masculinity" and "femininity"?

Re: Givenchy Fall 2012
Here are some more pics from the same show - like the skirts 8) but what are they wearing on their noses. Hopefully those rings WON'T catch on... http://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/style/catwalk-fashion-shows/AW2012/Mens/paris/Givenchy/full-length-photos?page=1 Yes, those rings are totally ...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"
Noticed a guy strolling through Dublin city earlier today wearing a plain khaki-coloured kilt. The overall appearance was of a "braveheart", big boots, rucksack, combat jacket; like an army piper on a break from the battlefield. He looked comfortable and confident, and who knows, maybe tu...

Re: Stump Town Kilts
I did a Google search for stumptownkilts.com last night and Norton Site search indicated that it was safe. I repeated the search a few minutes ago and got the same. Was there any particular page that seemed to scare AVG and Norton 360? I went to the site last night and looked around. Did not have an...
