Re: Man in skirt wins Eurovision
Edit in blue @Barley: Please give me a proof that as a skirted man I can get in a romantic relationship with a woman. This will always get the priority over skirt ;-) I mean, as far as I know, people on board are either alone, either revealed their will to wear skirt after they're already in a stabl...

Re: Dua Lipa’s SNL performance featuring skirted male dancers
We could bride a teenage girl in creating this video and inform her she could at least has the possibilities of being hired to perform for birthday parties with boys dancing in skirts. Gnééé? What I understand from this phrase: you want people to hire a girl, and this girl will be the male dancer. ...

Re: Man in skirt wins Eurovision
His performance was very impressive, he did played well with that moving plate, all the moves he did, without stopping singing! Bravo! But. He identifies as non binary, confirming yet one more time that skirts are not for straight hetero guys. Am I wrong in thinking that the skirt is becoming a non-...

Re: Dua Lipa’s SNL performance featuring skirted male dancers
About the video links given in the first message of the topic: I can't see them because of country limitations. I've been curious, and tried to see it from somewhere else. Not sure that what I seen is what have been posted. Here's what I think about it: In one of the clips, the male skirted band was...

Re: I finally wore a skirt in public
I compltely concur with you about Shein, denimini. I've purchased once before to discover about how ethically bad it is. From the 5 skirts I bought only one did not fit because the waist was 5 cm smaller than indicated in the sizing chart.

Re: Dua Lipa’s SNL performance featuring skirted male dancers
Is it possible for men to follow the same path that women followed when the started wearing trousers? The path that they followed created fashion freedom that they enjoy today. Women wanted to participate in men’s activities so they started wearing trousers. There have been the WW during which wome...

Re: Dua Lipa’s SNL performance featuring skirted male dancers
I don't know what they look like in the clip (long time disconnected from any kind of news or medias, and not the envy to watch it), I can see three reasons why she decided so: - to make people speak about it, so they watch the clip, eventually like her music => more fans - she likes seeing skirt da...

Re: Skirting when doing DIY projects
When at home, if I feel warm enough to do the work and the work is compatible with skirt wearing (and when doing around the house, if weather permits): https://snipboard.io/BdXWbI.jpg The only significant downside compared to trousers: the pockets are hard to use with this skirt, due to its design. ...

Re: Hypothethical Question
You make me think about a thought I've had at H&M on this Saturday. I had no camera to take any picture, but I was in the men's aisle and did see black, gray, white, marine blue, blue, light blue, brown, light brown, red, orange, purple. All in pale colors however, but all these colors. As for t...

Re: Skirts in Schools - No hope for boys
Not really possible, I'm afraid. There are so much kids compared to the school staff, that it is simply impossible to check everywhere. Kids will always find a place to hide from view to commit their misdeeds. And eventually, that "somewhere" can be out of school. A school can be as strict...

Re: What feminine items do you wear?
Just saying, the average man is bigger than the average woman. It tends to make possible for most women to wear "boyfriend clothes" whereas it tends to make hard or impossible for most men to wear "girlfriend clothes". Sometimes, forgetting about "high-level thingies" m...

Re: Red pleated skirt... that inspires a kilt
After two ironing attempts, here is the best I could get: https://snipboard.io/3N4yVo.jpg But now that I'm posting this, I just figured out a way I could have tried but I don't have thought about. It will be for a next time. The problem is not more the machine foot than the need to elevate textile w...

Re: Red pleated skirt... that inspires a kilt
I have a dedicated table for cutting, pinning, measuring, etc., it is 120 x 80 cm. Not so big, but actually enough to work on most projects I have realized up to now. Bigger would have been nice, but not required and in fact I don't reasonnably have any space for it (especially because an equivalent...

The look is quite... special, but is good also. I understand why you say you felt special in that outfit, it is indeed uncommon.
