Re: Interesting Look From Prada
Agreed. Hardly the look that would inspire me or make me think it was his choice -- more like made to wear it as a walk of shame; and the hair adds notihing positive. "interesting" -- maybe; "helpful" -- no at all.

Re: Gender Non-Conformance and Religion
There are several of us who post here that have mentioned wearing their skirts to their own churches -- a couple I can think of are fairly conservative bodies. I wear my skirts pretty much everywhere including Quaker Meetings, but at times to other likely more conservative churches. I've attended 7...

Re: Closing Window of Opportunity
Now THAT is an eye-catcher -- I like it. Not sure where I'd wear it -- but I'd find something!

Re: Kristi Noem's husband
I see nothing to validate these claims, and a great deal to doubt them. I rather agree with John, regardless of the truth -- a big Yawn in a world about to blow itself apart. I do think we should have clearly established facts before we further such stories, currently, this is below the belt for any...

Re: To Those Who Wear Glasses---I Salute You!
Glasses do create some images, dramatic, fun, silly, studious and nonchalant -- a scad of images like skirts can too. I'm a newbie (only about 40 years, mostly for reading; whereas my wife had Mouse's experience, glasses from childhood until cataract surgery and then nada -- did she ever look strang...

Re: Skirts, tights, dresses and masculinity
Men in skirts are facing a disaster in America. Not in my neck of the woods. I freely come and go in skirts and dresses with nary a peep from anyone, save for those who make the effort to compliment me on my appearance. I concur with jeff B: I've not been in the US for several months, but I have be...

Re: In Praise of Pencil Skirts
Why would you want to wear a pencil skirt? Restrictive and need to fit really well to work and look OK. Why would you want to bother? And yet I have some pencil skirts, 24'' to 31'' in length, and I love wearing them. The ones I have fit close around my waist and hips are not unduly restrictive wit...

Re: Sequin Skirt?
Another fun find. I think there is something about dramatic outfits that tend to get more positive attention -- people intuitively know that you are intentionally making a statement; not merely some confused guy in a skirt. I have only one sequined skirt: https://photos.app.goo.gl/rmPuGvLPTM8np3yg8 ...

Re: Skirts, tights, dresses and masculinity
Men in skirts are facing a disaster in America. Maybe some places, but I'm not seeing that around here. This is quite a conservative rural county, but I have had very little disapproval. I even went to a protest today in a skirt. ( https://www.skirtcafe.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=26032 ) A couple o...

Re: Skirts, tights, dresses and masculinity
I believe that masculinity and femininity are concepts that need to be erased from society. They are as unnecessary as gendered clothing! Both need to be eliminated. People should just be themself. Masculinity created the “Man Box” and needs to be eliminated. I completely agree with you. Masculinit...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"
A few years ago, I found myself at an outdoor midsummer village feast in southern France, seated at one of the long tables next to a local woman. To my slight discomfort, she adopted a somewhat disapproving tone in enquiring about this foreigner in a skirt. I was able to reply that it was actually ...

Re: Ask AI
Interesting post BM. The way a question is phrased dramatically impacts the tone of an A.I. answer -- but I'd like to think it is one possibility!

Re: Style
If you were to base skirt colors based on the colors of mens trousers . I have a few of the seven colours in my working skirts. I am missing brown, olive and white, however, it made me smile when he had a picture of a man in white trousers standing next to a proper Land Rover. IMHO, while I love my...
