Re: A change at work results in no skirting.
If you are already well known to drivers you’re going to have to wear a disguise anyway. You have to be the “grey man” and blend in. Dress in a similar fashion to other passengers depending on time of day

I agree. I don’t wear women’s clothes, I wear my clothes. They may have been designed with women in mindMe too, and I have also been that cross-dresser.
Just not women's clothes, my clothes!

Re: That rare male compliment
Never had a compliment about skirts or kilts but , perversely, had a compliment about panties I was buying. The checkout assistant gushed at the patterns on the pairs I was buying, stating that she had not seen them in the shop herself and would get some for herself

Re: Scottish Hate Crime law
All I will say is that there has been a faction lobbying for exit from Europe since the original referendum votes to enter. This was one of the main reasons for the “establishment’s” antipathy to Ted Heath for having the temerity to defy them in the first place. Ironically it was Margaret Thatcher w...

Perhaps, but teeeechnically.... Fred's sign (the one that started this thread), really isn't a threat. All it says is that the property owner is old, fat, and lazy... Never let on about your infirmities, and never let on about your advantages. Both can cause you trouble. There are some things that ...

I really do like some of the styles shown and would wear them myself. There is no chance I’d be mistaken for a school pupil. I agree that white is not a very practal colour though

Re: Cyber Security Tips
I am always suspicious of anyone asking for details of any kind. I regularly get spoof PayPal messages claim my account is compromised and occasionally some from banks I don’t deal with. Interestingly the banks don’t seem concerned when I report them. I have the PayPal email in my saved addresses. W...

Re: Scottish Hate Crime law
As RK says there are very similar cultural identities with parts of Britain and parts of Europe. For instance Germany and the Netherlands are very similar to parts of England. Brittany, Cornwall, Wales and Ireland share similar culture, and many others. The borders between states, currencies, Govern...

Re: Scottish Hate Crime law
I can’t understand the logic of a government that wants Britain to be independent of Europe yet doesn’t want Scotland to be independent of Britain. It would be far better if governments worked together instead of against each other but that wouldn’t suit the egocentric politicians who think they hav...
Re: POSTED
I have been burgled and the house left in a mess. My wife’s jewellery taken; not vastly valuable but you can’t replace the sentiment. The most disturbing aspect was the array of knives lined up on the bed. I was informed by the police that was in case I came back and disturbed them. Now there’s loc...
Re: POSTED
posted.jpg I do sympathise. Things are too far the other way in UK where if you put a sign up saying beware of dog then your pet bites the burglar you are held liable. Despite running the risk of being called a rabid vigilante I do support the right to defend your property with deadly force. I thin...

I like the first place be the best. It might draw a lot of attention if worn on the high street though. The other outfits are fine as well but not with heels for me.

Re: Hypothetical election questions answered....
Seems to me that you guys have to choose the lesser of two evils. The worst thing you can do is not choose and sit on the fence. That way you forfeit the right to moan about whoever wins.

You’re right there are always exceptions which prove the rule. If I’m desperate my go to is Douwe Egbert. But for the tourists I still say avoid It

I can’t function in the morning until I’ve had my coffee.
If you’re ever in UK though don’t touch the instant variety it’s awful. As is that stuff left over from WW11 made up mostly of chicory.
