Re: Wendy Williams backlash over "men in skirts and heels"

Rereading this topic it just occurred; maybe it’s because most guys look better in skirts than she does

Re: Folks trying to "label" skirt-wearers?

This has been bugging me for a bit - the labeling aspect. We all like to classify things - generalize things, otherwise stereotypes wouldn’t be so ingrained in our world. As I was looking though a skirt wearing male’s instagram, he kept referring to himself as “queer”. I guess it’s fine he takes up...

Re: Fashion Stockings

If I had legs like yours I definitely would. I enjoy the short skirts but I would never dare to wear them in public myself ( sigh) maybe one day . I don’t think the 14” is too short at all but do you have trouble with showing stocking tops?

Re: Nice article that mentions Skirtcafe favorably

Even if it’s not banned I don’t think it’s appropriate for either sex to go about topless in every circumstance. Who wants to sit near sweaty bodies in a restaurant or brush against them while shopping. The beach or garden is fine for either sex. As for complete nudity , same is true for me but I ca...

Re: Skirts with elastic waist, pockets, stealthy design

I have trouble with elastic waists whether skirts or pants. If I put much stuff away n the pockets, keys, phone, change, etc. they have a tendency to fall down. I suppose I could wear braces (suspenders) but that’s a whole different look.

Re: I'm wondering what people think of Grayson Perry

The difference between the two is that Eddie Izzard is a guy wearing skirts, dresses and makeup. I’ve seen him looking stylish and not so stylish in same. Grayson Perry tends to assume a character, that of Clare, obviously a guy who doesn’t look like any woman I’ve ever come across.

Re: Encounters of the silly kind

It’s weird how most people can’t understand why you would choose to walk when you could drive. It does keep you active. I have long been an advocate of get a dog not a gym membership. It’s socially acceptable to see a guy walking with a dog but considered suspicious if he’s alone. Just an observatio...

Wow! Such a small place is definitely punching above its weight for mentions in the cafe.

Re: I am Corporal Klinger

Cool look Oldsalt. A very tasteful fusion of styles. I admire American culture for the respect it shows to their servicemen. A bit different from this side of the pond where servicemen are discouraged from going out and about in uniform.

Did you not listen to uncle Al ? Definitely severely off topic. At least start a new thread. I am a new member but I don’t think anyone is doing the forum any favours

Re: Wendy Williams backlash over "men in skirts and heels"

Never heard of her until this, which was probably why she said it. I hope never to hear of her again. Someone with her appearance should first cast the beam out of her own eye. I wonder just what her qualifications are for postulating on how others should conduct their lives? I have my opinions on B...

Re: Rainbow utility kilt.

I have couple of utility kilts bought on eBay. No doubt they were made somewhere in Asia. I look for the click and collect option which I don’t think is available to foreign shippers. The cheapest on was £9.99 including shipping. It arrived within a week and fits perfectly. There are better quality ...

Re: Birthday of a lady who helped invent the modern computer

Thought for a minute that you were referring to Ada Lovelace, daughter of Lord Byron and colleague of Charles Babbage. They worked to create the first programmable computer a hundred years earlier.

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

Out in the City of Wells this afternoon doing some shopping. Wearing black knee high boots, a long denim skirt, an orange top and orange tights and a yellow padded jacket. Had a good time browsing the shops and managed to buy myself a purse from a charity shop and a knee length yellow skirt from a ...

Re: New guy just learning the ropes

Hi all Discovered this site fairly recently though I've been skirted for many years. Prefer shorter skirts but too timid to venture out in them. I usually wear a nightshirt This is a bit weird as the females in my house favour pyjamas. My daughter insists on always referring to my nightdress whethe...
