Re: Lord Jamar is opposed to men in skirts

Lord Jamar is just another clown seeking attention by being as "controversial" as he can. Thank you TSH for your explanation. For me, he has been thrown in the Rap bin in a very dark recess of my brain. Also I don't need to spend time on watching the link. For one moment I thought he may ...

Re: Triston Casas - proud wearer of nail polish

Come on, we are men, we can do anything if we put our minds to it. These nails have 4 layers to them, it is not rocket science. Base coat, colour, sparkle and gloss top coat. Are they perfect? Hell No, but they bring me pleasure in a similar way to wearing a skirt. They also add colour in to the mix...

Re: Effectively, a Boy's Dress

How is that rational? It is not. An Arab man wears a long white dress. The man at the front of the church wears a long thick dress with highly coloured embroidery. The judge wears a long black dress. The suited man wears a long dress with buttons down the front to keep the rain off his suit. The ma...

Re: Styling skirts

I don’t know if this video has been posted before. I wasn’t too keen on the first two outfits with skirts worn over trousers/pants and I feel they would have looked better with leggings. However, I loved the last skirt outfits the guys wore especially the guy with the dark hair with the black boots...

Re: Ballet Flats and Mary Janes Back on the Runway

To get this thread back onto subject, I bought a cheap pair of Mary Jane shoes on eBay, to try the look with my style.....🤠 https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53763378749_b8f4223305_o.jpg I know they are not as flat as the fashion, but I am dealing with my own style rules....🤠 Not very comfortable ...

Re: Ballet Flats and Mary Janes Back on the Runway

Moose I love your look with the boots and latex leggings. Can I ask where did you get the boots? Thank you stephanie53. The boots are made by Pleaser Shoes https://pleasershoes.com. The actual boots are the Adore-1020 style. This is a standard 7" heel, 2 3/4" platform boot, which they do ...

Re: Triston Casas - proud wearer of nail polish

As I browsed through the tv channels last night, avoiding the adverts (not as easy as it might sound) and trying to fill up a few more minutes of my time by watching something informative or entertaining before going to bed, I came across this interesting interview on NESN. That was a very interest...

Re: Tartan Kilt with Flip Flops

It's that Greco-Roman look. I shaved my leg hair in the picture to look even more like a Greco-Roman statue. Nothing says defending Western Civilization than dressing up like an ancient Greco-Roman. Do you think the actual 'ancient Greco-Roman' men would shave their legs? I get that the statues hav...

Re: A Formula for Successfully Selling Men's Skirts

I really like the short black pinafore dress I bought recently but what concerns me is that it looks a bit like the gymslips the St Trinians schoolgirls wore on the films. However, I try hard not to make it that way by combining it with leggings and casual coloured T-shirt and timberland boots. I s...

Re: Be careful: theses new age men are feminine: relationship advice

Traditional black attire in kenya. I saw that picture a thought African men have not got the 'drab' message and still have their colour..... However, second time I looked, my eye was drawn to the Tartan wrap he is sporting. Several questions spring to mind, is Tartan part of ' Traditional black att...

Re: A Formula for Successfully Selling Men's Skirts

Should add, Mouse. Most school uniform ensembles are flat bland boring, so yes I get your point. However, so is a lot of work appropriate clothes making overlaps almost inevitable/predictable. The exception is a distinctive plaid skirt which merely lends weight to the point I made. Oh I agree to so...

Re: Mississipi School Discriminate Transgender Girl

But our UK parent company wants to record it for statistics (some legally mandated). Leads to endless discussions. Is there not a "Prefer Not To Say" option RK? I'd have also thought that they could never use the data in any way which could be judged to be discriminatory. Steve I presume ...

Re: I finally wore a skirt in public

I decided to wear my pinafore dress with black leggings and casual t-shirt to my art and craft group today. Two women run the group but nothing was said and no one at the group batted an eye lid and they spoke to me as normal. After the art group I had a look around town and in the shops and again ...

Re: A Formula for Successfully Selling Men's Skirts

This offering from Thom Browne, simple skirt, muted and over the top expensive! The reason it didn't sell more is price and the fact that it is boring. Is it me, or is there a certain similarity to girls school uniform in that picture. Bringing up the issues we are discussing in the tartan school s...

Re: Trousers, Women have more....

The demand for dresses rose in tandem with the one for feminine trousers. Skirts appear to have been the losers in this respect. It would be interesting to know if it that were true for dresses. I have a feeling that demand for posh dresses like the demand for smart suits is probably a gently decli...
