Re: Custom skirts

This is an interesting project and I am pleased that the skirts are matching up to what you hoped for. It will be interesting when you have had chance to wear them a bit in a few outfits.

Re: Dr Marten Anistone Hi Boots

Nice boots DF

I would think thin tights would be similar to plastic bags to getting into the boots. The problem with the plastic bags is that you feet will sweat and the sweat will pool in the bag.

Hope you work them out.

Re: America - 250 years

Don't have the special kilt, but I have been wearing long skirts over the last few days and I put this picture together to wish all our American friends happy 250 birhday https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/55128419629_2716ff7bf8_z.jpg Please note this is not political, just Mouse being Mouse with a...

Re: Kilt skirt for men

Visually a kilt with the comfort of a skirt I tried an experiment and purchased a 5 yd cheapie tartan patterned one and I have to say it is a lot easier to live with than an 8yd but still looks ok enough and avoids some of the double takes when wearing a normal skirt What we are really saying here ...

Re: Does anyone assume you are transgender?

.......I think you are doing the right thing toning things down for the sake of Mrs Mouse and I'm sure you will be back soon enough, bigger and brighter than ever. Thanks for your support BM. This has been going on since the back end of last year and is purely limited to visits to certain parts of ...

My worlds come together

So you all know that I have my work look and my play look. The Mouse I present to my clients is crazy weird, but skirted with a small range of standard "don't frighten the horses" skirts. The flip side, when I am in my village and visiting Tesco's or Screw-fix, is far more creative and int...

Re: Style

Another chart of skirt lengths, but with somewhat different terminology. This is interesting for the long lengths being split into evening and floor. I have some skirts that are floor, unless I wear heels, where they would change into evening. I guess we already knew that the footwear worn, changes...

Re: Does anyone assume you are transgender?

I don't have any problem with people assuming whatever they like. If I am in conversation, I am open about what I am and have no problem in discussing the subject. In fact I love chatting about "me" and my style. My main problem is when close family assume what other people are thinking an...

Re: America - 250 years

Not proper ones Thin ice Ray, very thin ice! Steve. My levity in this thread is all to do with the seriousness taken with the original video. I have watched many videos on this channel and learnt much about tartans, kilts, sporrans and other Celtic traditions. However the sales line has always been...

Re: “Just normal variations…”

I don't know about the autism spectrum (in my day you weren't tested unless really severe) but I definitely had the same feeling at school regarding skirts, long hair and even earrings although some braver souls did push the social boundaries on the latter two. I had a very similar school days with...

Re: Kilt skirt for men

.............There is a huge added problem around skirts for men in Scotland and it is summed up perfectly in that sentence. I always thought that Scottish men had an easy in, to skirt wearing. However, Steve and DrFishnets are showing that the tartan kilt is a small extra box attached to the stand...
