Re: AI Sucks

Good case of "garbage in - garbage out". There lies the problem. AI learns by scraping the internet. False information becomes the truth as far as AI is concerned. The old saying "tell a lie enough times it becomes fact" It’s not really all that - it’s a combination of word pred...

Re: Dr Who

The question in my mind has nothing to do with the basis of the show. It had everything to do with attitudes to men and specifically men that wear women's clothes. Right there we see the dragon we're trying to slay. Who else sees it? I think we all see it (hopefully). I'm simply wondering why they ...

Re: Dr Who

He is wrong and he knows it. It's not a mockery of drag. If David T went up on stage in Whittaker's clothes, nobody is going to think he's a drag artist. Drag is caberet. Agreed! Though I'm sure the headlines would be "Dr Who in Drag" or "David Tennant in Drag" and I'm pretty su...

Re: Dr Who

Hrmmmm - maybe he has a point, but I think it could have been done with respect - I didn’t see the episode, but her outfit isn’t that fem. If he had regenerated and never acted weird or said anything about the outfit, and just gone about his business? I get that the shirt is tight and a boatneck… wh...

Re: Ballet Flats and Mary Janes Back on the Runway

Doc has finally offered some of their "Mary Jane" shoes in men's sizes. https://www.drmartens.com/us/en/t-bar-regency-leather-mary-jane-shoes-whiskey/p/31528248 Now if they would only bring out their #8065 twin-strap sandal in size 46 (approx.12-UK), something I have passionately wanted f...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

The closest to a negative comment I got was a greeting of "your slip is showing," a friendly ribbing from someone I know a bit better and had slowly warmed to my kilts some time ago. See, the next time I met that person, I'd wear a slip under my skirt (regardless of necessity) and intenti...

The important thing is to keep going out and gaining confidence.
Also, photoshop is an important thing not to forget :P

Re: Friction

My friend was right about a skirt with a restricted stride. Walking was a pain having to take 50% more steps which means 50% more time. Next time I will listen to advice from women on skirt wearing. Agreed. I've only worn a restrictive skirt once or twice to work, and each time I regretted the choi...

Re: Hypothethical Question

I don't want my clothes, my interests, to define me - I do want my works (one could say art), words, actions to define me. We humans define other humans in many ways depending on what we ourselves are interested in. So if I am a fashion nut, I may have a set of boxes in my mind where I file people ...

Re: Hypothethical Question

This goes with the constant thought - a label. A box to put unusual(weird ?) men in. Society still thinks in terms of "A Label". WHY, WHY , WHY :?: If YOU have a solution to this "problem", you might win a Nobel Prize :!: I don't see it as a negative or positive - just a definit...

Re: Hypothethical Question

Can't you have your cake and eat it too? In today's society - wearing a skirt as a man is gender non-conforming. But it's just a definition - not an identity, flag, etc... it can be just a descriptor. Eventually one would hope it would go away as men adopt skirts and more colorful styles - but you c...

I have a lot of yardage (amount unknown) of blue velour with an embossed design - probably from the 60’s or 70’s. I’m sure it would fit right in with the depicted era.
