Re: Sexual Fetish or Gender Expression?
I am just a guy in a skirt. I desired to wear skirts from a very young age. Because of my strict religious upbringing and being bullied growing up, it took me many years to get the courage to even wear a kilt in public. However, once I did, it felt amazing! Now I have more skirts than pants (work un...

Re: What were you doing an hour ago?
An hour ago...I was watching some cool advertisements interrupted by a boring football game.
Earlier today...I was listening to classical records while watching the winter wonderland unfold outside our large bay window

Re: Names and Gender
I share my first and middle names with my father and grandfather. Some days, I wish it were different, but mostly I am proud of it. To my knowledge, all males in my family had/have "masculine" names, and all females had/have "female" names. There is one exception, my sister-in-law is named Kelly. I ...

Greetings from the Shenandoah Valley! My wife and I honeymooned in Boone about two decades ago. It is so beautiful!
There are some beautiful spots of dark sky in the Shenandoah National Park. You can even see the Milky Way with the naked eye in a few spots!

Re: Outfits: What Inspires You?
I find inspiration through observation. I have desired to wear skirts for most of my life. I would even daydream what my outfits would look like. Usually, I wear tops and shoes that I would usually wear with jeans or shorts. My inspiration also comes from clothing racks at second hand or discount st...

Re: Dress
I was bullied pretty heavily in school. It started in the third grade and ended at High School Graduation. I tried so hard to "fit in", but it never worked. I had a few friends, but I know of no one who was bullied quite as extensively as I was. Looking back, adding a skirt or kilt to my wardrobe in...

Re: GQ articles
GQ and others have been saying this for several years now. The only difference I see this year is the "normal" look of some of the dresses/skirts. I would wear some of those outfits, but I am with most here...I can find the same style in the women's section for a fraction of the price!

Greetings from the Shenandoah Valley! I have been wearing kilts since 2006 and started wearing skirts in public in December of 2019. You will find a lot of support here. The greatest accessory to any skirt is confidence!

Re: Approaching the issue with significant other.....
My wife was hesitant even with kilts in the beginning. However, once I showed her how "manly" a kilt can look, she fully accepted it. However, she has been slow to accept my skirts. I believe there are two issues here. One, she is used to seeing men in pants or shorts. She still associates skirts as...

Re: A certain satisfaction
There is no greater feeling than zipping up my skirt after a long day of work. My job requires a trousered uniform which is quite uncomfortable. What tops it off? Admiring myself in my full length mirror!

Re: NBA player gets kilted
I believe the greatest part of his outfit is his confidence. As has been mentioned endless times on this forum, confidence is the best accessory to any skirt!
I, for one, love the skirt (kilt)! It appears to fit well and looks natural.
It's "events" like this that will normalize men in skirts!

Re: Public safety in skirting 2021
I live in the purple area called the Shenandoah Valley (cities are blue, counties are red). I wore my usual denim skirt out grocery shopping Saturday morning. I think the staff at the local stores are starting to recognize me! I wore a tartan kilt to church Sunday (it's kind of expected of me now :D...
