Re: SkirtCafe Core Values

I came down with several mini- strokes last summer and this is the first time I have been able to concentrate on most anything...I was not aware of the controversies here at Skirt Café.. I enjoy my kilts, the better half is tolerant and goes out of HER mind if I wear a skirt...It is a ...

Re: Ties and skirts/kilts

Well, I can only say that you all are very lucky to have wives who go out with you in public and don't raise heck with you... She does now accepts the kilts and I wear mine out and about in the home grounds.... There probably would be a funeral if I went out among the general populace... I did go fo...

Re: Ties and skirts/kilts

Well, you look razor blade sharp to me..... just thought I would throw in my 2 cents worth... We are having beautiful weather here in Oregon, but that will change pretty soon.... I have heck with the other half, so I get along with my kilts but the end of the world would come if I showed up in a ski...

Re: Fashion Reverie - men in skirts

Thanks for all the comments (all positive)...Though none of us are Christopher Columbus, we are "sailing" towards the edge of the social world, but we will like Columbus did, find that the social world also has no over the edge drop off and therefore, we just keep on skirting and exploring...

Re: Fashion Reverie - men in skirts

Thank you for your response... The Elderly "lady" just didn't want to hear from me... and I didn't honestly want to get into any fray... so I let her go on, I made my purchase and went on... I figure she had the problem, not me... The others events all went quite well, but the one who stop...

Re: Fashion Reverie - men in skirts

I live on the east side of the Cascade mountains and it is rather conservative.... I stopped in my take and bake PizzA store and ran into an elderly woman (putting it nicely) and she made a few caustic remarks about my gender and family heritage.... Rather than starting a shouting match, I picked up...

Re: Fashion Reverie - men in skirts

Hello... I haven't posted in a long time..... but get a chance to follow along on occasion... I agree with a couple of post above, that if they would design and MAKE some decent skirts and business dress outfits, it would go a LONG WAY to making us guys wearing skirts accepted.... ! Since I live in ...
