Re: Dirty Work in a Skirt

This is a real shame. It's harmless and you really enjoy doing it, like we all do. Have you spoken to your wife about it?

Re: Sexual Fetish or Gender Expression?

This is a great thread. Thanks for the lead, Stevej180. In addition to the functionality of all my dozen or so skirts, there are some in which I feel sexy. It's important to me. The word 'hobby' is more accurate as stated above. Strolling around like the Rocky Horror Show could be more fetish, but y...

Re: Lacking confidence

Go do it. Once I got in the mindset that there's nothing wrong, everything clicked. I have been lucky with the support of my two daughters. They say that it's an item of clothing; and if women can wear what they want, a man should too. As for the length, sounds great. The comfort, and as you say the...

Re: Men's Kilt by Dangerfied in stores

It all comes down to acceptance and seeing the other person. It's what we would prefer when out there skirted. If people prefer to display tattoos, that's up to them. If we don't like it, suck it up buttercup.

Skirt No Pocket, Shirts With Pocket/s

Hello, Realising that all I need when I leave the house is my driving licence (also doubles as ID) and credit card, maybe some money in notes, these all fit easily into a shirt pocket. Carrying car keys is no problem. The shirts are men's. All else I wear is men's, except a couple of pairs of comfy ...

Re: Hi everyone

Hello Pete.
Congratulations. You prove confidence is key. The 'shorts are good, skirts are better' comment is a great one for you. In all of this there is humour too. We wear skirts for the feel-good factor. Fun and laughter epitomise that.
Well done.

Re: Coming Out

Indeed we are lucky. Thanks.

In fact, this will now be my first summer, when I look at a woman in a skirt or dress on a hot day, and will not be thinking, "You lucky so-and-so", as I'll be flowing with the breezes too.

Coming Out

Almost a week ago I mentioned to my daughter that I enjoyed wearing skirts, and that I sometimes go out and about in them. Her response has been absolutely fabulous and supportive in the extreme. She is 17 years old. Today we went shopping and I hit bullseye with two more purchases and small boots, ...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

Now that lockdown has eased a little, it's good to get out and about and make more skirt purchases. Buying skirts while wearing a skirt is terrific. Only bettered by being out and wearing a skirt, especially in this weather. Being at home most of the time these days, being able to choose what I wear...

Re: Real difference between a kilt and a skirt?

I agree too Stu. We are Skirt Cafe after all, not the Kilt Club. I’m for out and out skirt wearing. If someone argued that a choice I have is a kilt, so be it. My ideal one is in the picture Stu’s posted. Maybe even shorter. There are many pictures out there of men rocking this type of skirt. The fe...

Re: Skirts in front of alot of people

Apart from the two young lasses at the counter, who giggled, not a flicker from the many down there. All shapes and sizes of good people, the tattooed and the plain skinned, the large and the small. Tumble dry and fold. All change and out again.

Re: Nice article that mentions Skirtcafe favorably

I’m reading the last line as favorable. Best to take it that way. Father of three and still fancy women. Maybe it does tap into a feminine side that I must have accepted down the line.
After all it is a positive shout for the gang and forum.
