Re: Shaving legs?

I personally love the look and feel of shaved legs. I have been doing it now for years. I also think that skirts look better with shaved legs and I say that because I think we have been conditioned to seeing skirts with shaved legs. Hairy legs and skirts tend to look 'out of place' (not that I am sa...

This totally resonates with me. In pants, I couldnt care less and it shows. But in a skirt or dress I want it to look good.

Elkommando Kilt sizing

Does anyone know the sizing of a size S Elkommando kilt. I have been losing weight and may have to go down to a small size. Does anyone know the waist size and length. Is the length the same as a medium?

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

These Mr Kirt skirts look great and very wearable. They also look great as a option for men in the office, yet still looking masculine.

Re: Great for Men Too

I have also tried this skirt at Kathmandu and can confirm thats its a comfortable skirt. When I first saw the pictures I was concerned that it was too straight and would need a little more aline for a comfortable stride. However, the pictures dont do it justice and it is more aline than it looks, pl...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

Saw a guy in his maybe early 40s in a shopping centre in Beenleigh, Queensland, wearing a brown lungi. He dressed it up well with the shirt and hat all coordinating . I wonder if it was another member from this forum?

Root of the Issue

At some stage we have all no doubt questioned societies strange double standard regarding clothing. Woman can wear mens clothing but men.......you know the story. But what is the real reason society has a problem with men wearing skirts? Whats the root issue? For sometime I have been thinking about ...

Re: German busdrivers wear man skirts.

Maybe we should try contact this company and ask where these skirts can be purchased from. By showing that men are interested in wearing these skirts apart from their compain, they may look at this as a more permanent option for men in their company.

Purple Rain Skirts

A new company, called "Purple Rain Skirts" which makes skirts for hiking has just begun making a kilt version for men. The kilt is actually more like a skirt. From the email response from the owner, they have had a lot of guys buy their skirts, so I assume this is the reason for them making a kilt d...

Re: Has the attention on transgendered individuals helped us

While I agree that the transgender awareness doesn't promote the idea of maculinity in skirts and dresses like we are hoping to promote. I do however believe that in the long run, it will help our cause. Alone with the idea of trangenderism, comes other concepts like "genderfluid" "gender nonconform...

Re: Kilt versus Skirt.

Using the "kilt" as an opener to the idea of our cause is fine but it's wrong to think of it as an end in itself, unless that's your "CHOICE"! Steve. This is how I see the kilt, a way of reintroducing and encouraging the idea of unbifurcated garments for men by promoting an already acceptable "skir...
