Re: Men's Kilt by Dangerfied in stores

I had dermal piercings (dermal anchors) on the back of my thighs - on each leg, but removed them a few years back. They have left a teensy weensy mark but almost unnoticeable. My navel - my upper navel piercing grew out on me and I had to have it redone in 2019. I was told that's quite common for th...

Re: Men's Kilt by Dangerfied in stores

Not really my thing, Never exactly understood the tattoo thing, on men or women, especially women. Tattoos are on my list of things I don't get. Along with high heels, tights and pantyhose, glamping, viral tic toc videos, and Justin Bieber fans I agree with you on all of that except I couldn't get ...

Re: Men's Kilt by Dangerfied in stores

Interesting... looks like there are two hem length options there as well?
Are they lined for comfort or are they like a scratchy woollen thing....

Re: what to wear underneath?

10 denier? Whoa! I had no idea numbers went that low! Talk about super sheer! And a few months ago, I wore 200 denier tights on a winter outing! Hiya JeffB I don't wear more than 15 denier ever - typically 10. They can get sheerer still though - I also have a lot of 7 and 6 denier stockings. ...

Re: what to wear underneath?

I wear Levante Class 12 denier tights, and sometimes Brilliante. I like a sheen to my legs. I also wear Wolford, Falke, Trasparenze and -, when they were being sold - Gerbe sheer tights for men. Hi Ray, I prefer a matte leg - but again there's so much variety out there. Transparence have neat desig...

I also wear Levante sheer hosiery. They are good quality. No chafing here!
yeh - you can't beat a little quality!
I usually wear Vanessa or if my hemline is shorter than mid thigh I'll wear Velatissima and skip my suspenders.

Re: Why do mens kilts have to look so masculine

I think its because they are a kilt by definition almost. They're not my personal choice - but then that's why there are skirts..... I have never worn a kilt out - I have tried one on but it was very heavy and didn't really sort of sit on me well. It was way heavier than my usual skirts. I prefer a ...

Re: what to wear underneath?

the talk of commando had just reminded me of a tried and true favourite of many skirt wearers... Commando brand lingerie make shapewear - they now have a half slip with a short inside it. I think they're calling it a skort - but its more shapewear than a skort. Its a nylon/elastane quality manufactu...

Re: what to wear underneath?

I would think smooth legs would make for less of an issue here? I've been hairless on my legs for years - and I have never had any issues like this and wear skirts always. I look after my legs and exfoliate/moisturise daily too - so perhaps that might help? Smooth and moisturised is the way to go I ...

Re: Coffee at the café.

I am a bit of a coffee snob - I like my flat whites and double shorts - so I clitter clatter down the road to the local cafe every day I am at work - at least twice a day - sometimes three times. I really prefer beans roasted from one roaster and will avoid a coffee shop that does not use either Sup...

Re: Pockets differences

This is certainly a way of making more of a feature of pockets: https://www.picclickimg.com/d/l400/pict/324553131259_/Sass-Bide-denim-skirt-size-42-new.jpg quite a few of my skirts and shorts (dare I say shorts here?) do that pocket dangley thing below the hemline. I think that's fairly normal for ...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

Of course SD and NZ may feel differently. I think thats a tunic or a top too. I don't mind a short hemline -Yes I'd wear a skirt that short but a dress at that hem line is too short for me to be happy - because a dress lifts as you move your upper body too...shrug your shoulders in that and you'll ...

well I wore a green fit & flare short dress, green pumps for St Paddys day here..... but no one else was green so I went and changed into a floral tee shirt and a leather skirt.

felt out of place damn it - and I am fairly confident in my own skin.....

Re: Tesco man employee wears skirts at work

As an employee its not so much my skirt that can cause trouble - its my high heels - my skirt doesn't get brought up from health and safety perspective. I'd debate the heels cause most things are do-able in heels but I'd never win that debate anyway. Ironically - mostly debating with men who don't w...
