Re: Skirts to dresses

I'm no psychology major, most likely the jump from skirt to dress difficulty is because with a dress it is just you and the dress. I agree completely - I found wearing a dress a harder transition than a skirt. Although in hind sight its an easier garment to coordinate and its faster etc... Dresses ...

Re: Items on eBay

Here's a macho micro. One would not lose any points off the "man card" with this one. If it was a size smaller (not shorter) and in Australia, I would buy it. https://www.picclickimg.com/d/l400/pict/114222201495_/Cute-Sexy-Camouflage-Micro-Mini-Skirt-Size-UK-14.jpg https://picclick.com.au/Cu...

Re: Postive Wife Support

I would try a leather skirt - above knee in a slight a-line cut - like a b-line skirt. Leather is not flowing - yet it is classical and will serve you well. An invest clothing piece. I have plenty of leather skirts and they are all worth the investment. I think camouflage skirts are on trend at the ...

Re: Stealth dress

Last year I started a second stealth dress but I lost confidence in the concept and stopped almost at the end. A week ago I stumbled upon the dress because a pin pricked my finger when I browsed through some fabric. I finished the last stitches and tried it on. I made two slits to the sides of the ...

Re: Has anyone else worn a really short skirt out and about

Maybe those high heels should be called elevator shoes - - - Wearing elevator shoes raises the viewing angle to a new (next) level - - - well they raise my viewing angle... I do feel like a short ass without my heels on. I am used to the boost...my perspective in heels is kind of my reality - in fl...

Re: Has anyone else worn a really short skirt out and about

The same skirt - but in different colours/fabrics! Nice ! If you like it you might as well have a couple of options ! Mid thigh hemline is plenty long enough - pelmut/pelmet to me means just covering my bottom. As short as you can go without showing knickers. The kind of mini skirt that when you put...

Re: Has anyone else worn a really short skirt out and about

9.5 inches worn on my waist is my limit for just passing my bottom when standing. I have a skirt that was called a pelmut skirt - and amusingly enough that seemed appropriate name at the time... 10 inches though is quite ok for wearing around. I have never worn a cumberbund but I have seen those thi...

Skirts are practical in their own way, but the option of shorts or trousers is still useful as well.
wouldn't bother me If I could never have trousers/shorts again....

Re: Interesting article about the origin of Mary Jane shoes

I like the round toe on them... so innocent a shoe shape - I like the contrast to my pointy toed pumps.

Re: Corona Virus

Today I just had a 12" denim skirt on. I've got most of the nettles down and brambles out where I garden, and the thistles aren't up yet. I plan to observe the day, tilling and digging out small trees dressed as God intended. Forecast mostly sunny and 78°F sounds good. 12'' skirt would be ideal for...

Re: Items on eBay

Probably a perfect fit for nzfreestyler ! LOL ! Now about sitting on the pleats having done the customary sweep - forget about it that skirt is so short the pleats are going to be standing at attention - and a bare or under-covered backside is going to be in contact with the sitting surface. Why do...

Re: Are you using the remain in place rule to your advantage?

I've been organising my wardrobe over the last few days (or trying to...) I have 361 pairs of shoes in the spare room (almost all now back in their correct boxes).... now that was an effort!!! Worse thing is I have shoes stacked in the garage too...... I'm going to try and organise my skirts/dresses...
