Re: Corona Virus

Virtually everything has shut down except JD Sports whose owner Mike Ashley [0] seems to think that offering sports gear is an essential service. [0] AKA a money grabbing b*st*rd Just to clarify, although I'm broadly with you on your opinion of Mike Ashley, JD Sports is a completely separate compan...

Cancel that - he's in the process of selling the business and has suspended the sale.

Re: Little advise please

You can still pick up a bargain in the Union Kilts clearance sale at https://unionkilts.com/. Some sizes are out of stock. I found I needed to go up a size from my belly measurement to get one that fitted my hips but that gave me a better choice.

Re: Health Concerns & Costs

My wife & I were watching TV showing the Berlin Wall being torn down. Our eldest son walked into the house and ask why we were crying. We said that the Berlin Wall is finally coming down. He said - hey, it's just a wall. We told him, yes - it's just a wall, BUT WE KNOW WHY IT WENT UP :!: Uncle Al :...

Wasn't it Eddie Izzard who said "They're not women's clothes, they're my clothes!" ?

Re: De-lurk!

My wife fully accepted that from the start, and her defence was that women in trousers are normal, but men in skirts are not. (Which of course is true.) So she was embarrassed to be seen with me in a skirt, or at the thought of people we know seeing me in a skirt. (Which to be fair to her, is ratio...

Re: Gucci Takes Toxic Masculinity to Task for Fall 2020

The whole notion of "toxic masculinity" is misandric hate speech spewed out by people suffering from the mental disorder known as "radical feminism". I'm new to posting on here (although I've been lurking for a while) so I'll limit myself to stating that I disagree strongly with quite a few aspects...

Re: De-lurk!

Welcome Mr Soapsud. MOH is tolerant of my skirt wearing around the house but not when guests are present. She is also against me wearing a skirt out of the house when she is with me. She knows that I sometimes wear a skirt outside when she isn't around but seems to ignore the fact. When I have pres...

De-lurk!

Hi, I've been lurking here for a while. I've realised I'm missing out on some topics because I haven't posted anything, so I'm trying to address that and investigating moving on in the process. I've had an inkling about wearing clothes that aren't associated with chaps since I was a kid, but didn't ...
