Re: Why do mens kilts have to look so masculine
The other way to go is with a 'cargo' or 'utility' skirt. I have a few of these - they look like cargo shorts, but unbifurcated - one in black and a couple in 'army green', with the usual tapes/zips/studs styling. There is nothing intrinsically 'feminine' in those, and they are much lighter and eas...

Re: Skirts worn with a corset
I would love to try a corset to give more dramatic shape. I’d wear it with an A line skirt.

Re: Postive Wife Support
Nice bit of compromise being big enough to let the wife have the skirt.
Truth is we may love skirts but women love them in a really intensive way - perhaps understandable to a trans woman but not always to a cis Male.

Re: Coffee at the Supermarket
Reading this post made me think. When shopping at the supermarket skirted, I usually shop reasonably quickly then soon go on my way. Recently, feeling brave, I made a point of going for a coffee in the Costa Coffee shop in the supermarket first before walking around the store to do my shoppi...

Re: Winter skirt
I alternate between this one and a similar black version. I went shopping last night with the denim skirt and tights, no heels just loafers. Wonderful. The black sounds nice. Four inches below the knee is my favourite - I hope yr wife has come round to it! :o PS Like the idea of tights too - what d...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"
It was in the coffee cafe of a big supermarket Interesting concept. "Café" is actually French for "coffee" so a "coffee café" is a coffee coffee. Oh the joys of the English language! Hi Skirts4me - you are so right, of course. Mea culpa/my bad. (I jest I know you are not having a go but than...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"
Spotted a guy last night while I was on the roof of a 13 storey building servicing some radio transmitting equipment, wearing what from some distance (probably close to 100m) looked like an ankle length dark brown skirt. I was on the phone and I just looked down and there was 3 people walking along...

Had so many lovely conversation openings with both women and men actually. Just had so many lovely lovely compliments. I do tend to ‘pretty skirt’, and this pays dividends. I just like nice things I guess! And people being nice.

Re: Sightings "in the wild"
Spotted in an East of England city three days ago - a man in a kilt that wasn't quite a standard Scottish kilt. It was a skirt. It was in the coffee cafe of a big supermarket and, at leisure with my latte, seated (wearing jeans I'm sorry to say, dudes), I was at leisure to observe two things: 1. The...
