Re: That rare male compliment

Not so much as compliments, but more "banter"... I was in a denim pencil skirt with sneakers when a guy asked "aren't you cold in that thing?" :D I was farily warm with tights on, I figured it was the closest thing to a compliment as the guy had a grin on his face but it all seemed to be in good hum...

Re: Sitting in Skirts and Kilts

When I sit in a skirt, I sit with knees together and ankles crossed. It is also how I sit when wearing slacks. Sometimes, I sit with my legs crossed at the knees. This comes natural to me. It is rare that my legs are splayed. I hope to buy my first kilt soon. I like the highland gray pictured below...

Re: It's not really a big deal after all!!!

The fear is all in our heads. Some will double take, then return to their life. It's just clothes. If we furtively creep about, it draws attention. Rock that skirt, own the look!

Re: Hi everyone

So, here is a 3 week update. Been exclusively wearing skirts but in work and outside of work, apart from a couple of occasions where it wasn’t quite practical and I wore jeans. Really loving how confident I actually feel. Like at first it felt almost like put-on confidence as to not show weakness t...

Re: Are you driving up the Skirt sales?

It could be as offices start to open up again, people need to buy more work skirts, especially if you've gone up a skirt size or two during Lockdown

I've put on weight and am almost a 14 from being a 10  going skirt shopping was delightful now the shops have opened again in UK :)

Re: GQ articles

A new GQ article.. And they might be finally getting it. Men want a simple skirt, not something that resembles a over the top clown costume. Published on March 19 2021 https://www.gq.com/story/sober-menswear-skirts Check it out Also can anyone figure out how to submit feedback to GQ? Finally someth...

Re: The Art of Wearing a Miniskirt

Great tips for wearing what I can not, but wish I could. Mini's are for those who do not look like a pregnant elephant as I do. For those that are like me then a skirt with a length just at the top of the knee is best for short skirts. I like mine at or below the middle of the knee. I do envy those...

Re: NY Daily News article

It's nice to see something from designers that's not so outlandish :) Personally I think the skirt would be better just above the knee, and an option for a cargo or straight one would look good. The problem with a lot of designer gear is it's pricing. But it's a better look I've seen for a while fro...

Re: Another positive article

I find that, with skirt pockets, even when they are big enough to hold anything decent, they are often placed in a position or at a funny angle so that the opening to the pocket ends up being "tight" making it difficult to get thing into them. And the thicker the material the more difficult it is. ...

Re: Sexual Fetish or Gender Expression?

I am sure the moderators will watch the thread closely, so I will temper my comments... I found male attire boring, the same jeans, shorts, pants / trousers, and apart from other cultural dress not associated with Western dress, the same colors, beige, navy, gray, black in general if not denim. So f...

Re: Outfits: What Inspires You?

Mark Byran (Mark as in Mark) inspires me, with his great taste in corporate wear. We have the same taste in skirts and I find his look very easy to emulate (I tried with blouses etc but it's much easier with men's shirts and tops). I may shy away from such towering heels, but I do like a good pair o...

Re: GQ articles

The Thom Browne skirt suits are nice (though the skirt hem is stupid), but it's too expensive. $1000 for any outfit is too much. I can get a ladies skirt suit that would fit better at a fraction of the price :P

Re: A certain satisfaction

I have the annoyance of some of my skirt zips failing or even splitting if I have put on too much weight  but I love side zips on some of my pencil skirts :D Jeans skirts are like mens shorts to me, mostly invisible. I love the breeze up my skirt on a spring day as well, something you would n...

Re: Womens underwear

There was a member called "Knickerless" (thankfully he never was  ) who posted a picture of himself in not a very demure pose at the bottom of a kiddies helter skelter slide at Westfield shopping mall a few years back  I think the picture was kept for posterity for what should NOT be po...
