Re: Windsor Tweed Suit

I like Mark's interpretation of the tweed suit though. Hi NTS The Windsor is a smart suit, that I will grant you. However, would you compare it to a kilt suit like the one that Bodycon posted. There is a world of difference in the making of the types of skirts and that would have to be reflected in...

Re: Windsor Tweed Suit

This gentleman is rocking his outfit, just remove the sporran and its an A line skirt suit. If you are on Facebook the picture can be enlarged from the SGA page. tweed kilt suit.jpg That looks just like mine! I've always loved a kilt suit, just a shame they're so damn expensive  Even most qua...

Re: Harper’s BAZAAR Australia: The age of genderless dressing: A sixty-something football coach changes the dress code

Get out there and wear it is the best advice, Mark is enjoying life with fast cars, great clothes and photo shoots Hi NTS Are you on Mark's payroll by any chance? If not, you should be! Apart from that I quite agree about just getting out there and as for cost, that is your business and nobody else...

JeffB dresses well, Coder too, and Alastair who used to post here, but you will find they are in well paying jobs. It requires capital for the clothes, then the thick skin to get out and wear them 8) Thanks for the compliment, but I'm still here! (From time to time. ) In fact, you've already quoted...

Re: AP: Fendi leads Milan trends with feminine silhouettes for men

No, Steve, it's not enough, but it may give us a little head start, which is better than nothing. The fact that menswear doesn't do the "fast fashion" thing the way women's retailers do, is both a blessing and a curse. It makes a big change like skirts harder to enact, but once it happens it will n...

Re: Windsor Tweed Suit

Hi Dust This is correct really because of what I said earlier. The Kilt purists would not approve and there are are lots of them around. However, if you have enough cash to spare any kiltmaker/tailor would make such a suit in any fabric you wish. Would the source you mentioned be 21st Century Kilts...

Re: Another Daily Mail rant

The problems here are: 1. The author. 2. The Daily Mail Anything printed by these muppets is best ignored. The Daily Mail is trying to be all things to all men, so over the years, its ultra conservative prejudiced tones have been watered down by celebrity gossip, as they compete with The Sun and Da...

Re: Harper’s BAZAAR Australia: The age of genderless dressing: A sixty-something football coach changes the dress code

I say Mark never looks like he is in stuff from the local market some of the styles with high slits at the side aren't really me, and he wore some odd skirt / pants combo which threw me the other day (obviously modelling stuff), but his 15 mins of fame seem to be doing him well I do agree regarding...

Re: Harper’s BAZAAR Australia: The age of genderless dressing: A sixty-something football coach changes the dress code

Mark doesn't do cheap, his looks are professional skirts for the workplace such as Zara and high end brands, and designer shoes. Hi Agreed about not cheap, that is for sure. However, I am obviously working for the wrong employer or just not networking enough. I just haven't met anyone who makes hig...

Re: Harper’s BAZAAR Australia: The age of genderless dressing: A sixty-something football coach changes the dress code

He's all over the internet these days, but maybe he's just flavour of the month. Enjoying his 15 minutes of fame. Profiting from it as well, judging by the article. How he rose to such prominence is a good question. It could just be luck: other SC members have accounts on Flickr or Lookbook without...

Re: Windsor Tweed Suit

Hello everybody. It's been a while since I've posted here as it's been a very crazy year. I just wanted to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I'll be in Texas for the holidays and then up to Boston for a photo shoot before heading back to Germany. Wanted show that you can buy a...

Re: Revisiting the effect of the trans movement on us

I think most people are just happy to be out and about between lockdowns than agonize over what people are wearing. There will be double takes, but then people just get on with their lives. As long as you don't wear anything too outrageous, no one will give you the time of day. I think Trans has a p...

Re: World leaders and skirts

Not sure Northumberland would like to be annexed by Scotland on the rebuilding of Hadrian’s Wall. Mind you, they might like it… The UK is a mess. Time to sort it out - or allow elements to go their own way if that’s the will of the departing entity. I’d rather we stayed together in theory, but when...

The Sims should add a Mark Bryan pack so there's an array of pencil skirts and heels
