Re: Why do mens kilts have to look so masculine

If kilts get "feminized", it would cause uproar for the kilted masses, and would remove that obvious stepping stone for the majority of guys into an unbifurcated garment. It begs the question, if kilts get feminized, do they cease to become kilts at all? Tom, you know I'm not really a "kilt guy" (n...

Re: What is your favourite skirt length to wear?

Knee length pencil, or just above the knee for me. Just my preferred style as I like a snug fit. A generous vent at the rear helps for walking

Rihanna thinks he's cool and has "slid into his DM's" on Instagram. Very positive comments overall

Re: Friendliness

I've noticed the younger generation is more tolerant, and with the long awaited acceptance of LGBT and a change in social norms (I realize not everyone here wants to accept that umbrella), a man in a skirt is a non event. I may not do the "she/they" pronoun stuff, but people aren't so hostile anymor...

Re: Warning: Completely Unmentionables.

Thank you all for your kind responses. At my worst, I was running a temperature of nearly 40c (although I didn’t feel like it). My Doctor wanted to admit me to Hospital. He was concerned that the infection might affect my Kidneys - but on calling the Hospital, they wouldn’t admit me during the heig...

Re: Queering the cishet

I like the look of that skirt, looks comfortable, practical and other things ending in "cle", even when they don't! I would like one of those. Started reading the text, I now switch off with all this talk of genders and freedoms, I guess I have seen the same things said too many times. The article ...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

Seen some guys wearing heels, but with men's jeans on my local high street. :) Now that is something worth noting, even if it's not a skirt. There are loads on Instagram, but so thinly spread it's rare to bump into a skirted man in the wild. A lot are working from home, and they fear a second wave ...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

Not quite "in the wild" but many guys on Instagram are adding skirts to their wardrobe. Some may be "genderqueer", but the looks are well put together.

Re: Pushing my limits

Yes, the UK is a free country but just because you CAN wear a skirt to work doesn't mean it is without consequences. The first thing is that people have difficulty separating men in skirts from transsexuals. I would have an additional difficulty here as I also cross-dress - I spend most of my time ...

Re: @jvdd on TikTok

I think the younger generations don't have the same hangups as Boomers, so pigeon holing and categories of either clothing or other societal norms is just mot their thing... it is "me against the world, like my style or piss off" kind of logic. Look at the likes of EJ Johnson, Joshohhgosh and countl...

Sounds great! If you look at Mark Mark's thread, there's some ideal business wear pictured! Get some smart court shoes if you can, and keep a spare pair of tights in your bag

Re: How Did the Country (USA) that Could Do Anything Turn Into One That Can't Do Anything

This is more concerning than the covid thing. Massive unemployment, lockdown, long hot summer ahead, a president who has promoted division amongst his own people and what appears to be clear cut police brutality leading to death. Finally Trump prepared to do whatever it takes to get another term. R...
