Re: New men's skort company SKORTIFY
I actually get it. While not great looking the compression shorts skort works for a lot of men that want to to wear compression shorts for athletic use, but don’t feel comfortable showing the man bumps and humps. I get it. The shorts should be shorter though, that length is unnecessary as far as I’m...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"
Hi: I have news from Worcester Massachusetts. First off, I was out for a movie date to meet my wife and I was at the Blackstone theater. As I was walking to the upper level I heard someone behind me, and when I looked there was a man in a full kilt, with sporran and beret. It was a Utilikilt and he ...

Re: Getting there?
Maybe I'm drifting a bit, but a guy, wearing fancy cowboy boots and strategically ripped jeans asked my why I was wearing a kilt, even though I'm not a Scot. I looked at his boots and replied, why are you wearing cowboy boots, even though you aren't a cowboy, and don't even have a horse. He replied,...

Re: Anti-theft device
I have always driven a manual transmission when possible. I have a younger neighbor that converted his hot car to manual, but he has had a lot of trouble learning to shift (although I'm sure he will eventually get it). Learning to drive only on an automatic, does seem to make a person not really und...

Re: Another reason to be carefull in LA
In one of my early jobs, I worked with homeless men (the women were not called homeless, they were in another building that was more permanent). at a city owned shelter called "Hotel Hilton" (It had a placard that said "Built with donations from the Hilton Family"(I'm not sure it...

Re: Real difference between a kilt and a skirt?
I know that actual "Kilt enthusiasts" have a real definition of what a kilt is, but to me, a kilt is a skirt garment that has a second panel in the front. I find this second panel to be very useful, and most of my skirts have it in some form. I just feel I need the second panel for comfort...

Re: Hiking Skirt
I too find the purple rain kilt skirt especially great in the summer. It is so light, yet not see through. Now, supposedly they do take custom sizes, which I am tempted to try with the black. Currently I have both a kilt and a skirt. BTW, the kilt is really only different from the skirt because of t...

Re: Bought a skirt, need help with shirts
Absolutely the sandals seem to fit the look better. It's possible there is just too much black sock in the shoes photo. What I see is what would normally be under your pants, where the socks should be covering all skin,, but since it is a skirt, the long socks aren't necessary. I have been a fan of ...

Re: Bought a skirt, need help with shirts
I’m all for the look you have in all 3 photos. The polo shirt works perfectly tucked in, at least on you. I would wear the skirt, no problem, and the polo shirts work. The problem with polo shirts is the length, and tucking them in fixes that. I do have one polo shirt that is short and it works grea...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large
On the few occasions that I have to wear shorts I am amazed at how uncomfortable and hot they are. Luckily it isn't often.
