Gender Blender - Michaela and Vlasta
Not sure if Vlasta still posts on here. I follow this fantastic couple on FB and I was taken aback by their recent post from Státní Opera. Vlasta is wearing a dark blue formal dress with a black shrug and I have to say that it is one of the best photos I have ever seen of a male sporting a dress. Wh...

Sit Down was their breakthrough tune from ‘89 (flopped) - re-released in’91 (smash hit).

As referenced on page 1 of my skirters of the music industry thread
James are a great band - one of my favorites. Tim Booth is an enigmatic frontman who writes some great songs / lyrics.

Baseball / Van Cleef & Arpels
Anybody else notice that a number of players in the World Series were wearing earrings in both ears? I never understood this convention that it was ok for guys to wear an earring in one ear but not two (and which ear you selected could be linked to sexual orientation). Of particular note, Miguel Roj...

Re: Captain Picard's Creeping Hemline
The first three look to be of suitable length that they could be considered as dresses (worn with tights, maybe). The last two just look like normal tops to me.

Re: Eurostar Uniform Skirts Now Unisex
C'mon guys, let's see the positives in this news. Will any current employees wear the gear day 1? Maybe not. But I'm pretty sure there are guys out there who upon reading this news *might* think of Eurostar as a future employer and *might* try the full dress code out if / when they get there. Also, ...

Re: MIS Birmingham school girl...
Am I the only one to question whether that vid is using a superimposed face?
If legit, I too would question the wisdom of such a choice of clothing. But then the contrarian part of my brain says “nobody questioned Angus McCoatup Young wearing a boys school uniform”

Re: Chapman Stick - A Different Instrument
Nick Beggs from 1980’s band Kajagoogoo plays one dressed in leather skirt as the below photo shows. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5e31fd8420b54e12d7dd9fdf/1601269635249-FFL0UW82OR8P5IINXJSZ/3359390768_bfc5a90bb6_b.jpg Ha! Re: Chapman Stick - A Different Instrument
Interesting that one can play lead, rhythm and bass guitar all on the same instrument - but it must be use with an amplifier. I'm into acoustic guitars - can play anywhere and without needing electricity. Maybe you need a harp guitar, then :-) If you cross the Chapman Stick with a lap steel guitar,...

Re: Boys right to wear skirts - woke?
Surely the root of the problem is school uniforms. They are an unnecessary expense for parents and in most cases uncomfortable and impractical wear for active children. As someone who lived in an underprivileged area and who wore a uniform throughout my secondary school education, I can understand ...

Re: Boys right to wear skirts - woke?
And the "woke ideology" (that DOESN'T exist) bit is the cherry on top for me, as it further demonstrates that these reactionary buffoons just throw the term "woke" around because they're too stupid to get a better script. Either that, or they project this nonsense onto their dim...

Re: The desert at night
One of our favourite parts of getting to holiday in the English Lake District each year was that we got to see the Milky Way on clear nights. ♫ I saw two shooting stars last night I wished on them but they were only satellites Is it wrong to wish on space hardware I wish, I wish, I wish you'd care ♫...
