Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

We are back to staying in as much as we can, as the number of Covid-19 cases is rising again. Only a few weeks ago my wife and I were enjoying a drive in the New England countryside, and the fall colors, and stopped for lunch at a café with outdoor service. Weather was pleasantly warm. I was wearing...

Re: what styles do you guys recommend?

Hi Covalence, I'll second the recommendation of denim, if you prefer pockets. I have one jeans-conversion skirt, and several more off-the-rack denim skirts, and they are the only ones that I would put anything in. As for my other skirts, I just think keys, handkerchief, billfold spoil the profile. I...

Re: Postive Wife Support

My situation is a bit confusing - my wife has said several times that she 'hates' that I wear skirts. Once or twice in the past she asked if I might be transitioning (We have had as acquaintances a trans man and trans woman). This although I wear exclusively men's shirts, underwear, jewelry (wedding...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

Did a few errands around town today - dropped off applications for absentee ballots (allowed for anyone due to the pandemic) at the town hall; walked around a bit in the town center; then bought some pots and hanging baskets of flowers at the garden store. I wore the brown miniskirt that my wife con...

Thanks, Fred. I'm still trying to figure out how to include photos. And I actually read the instructions (in the Pics and Looks section). Maybe there is a more up-to-date procedure?

Re: Has anyone else worn a really short skirt out and about

Did the grocery shopping today in 40 cm (16 inch) mini. Not as short as some of you fellows wear, but short enough to challenge propriety when retrieving canned goods from the back of the lowest shelf! (Wife’s favorite, couldn’t not bring home) https://www.dropbox.com/sh/wggq3up6r65u0tx/AACAj...

Re: Tee Shirt Dress

I saw a t-shirt dress on the sale rack while looking for a skirt, sometime last spring. and realized that 't-shirt dress' and 'nightshirt' are two names for one thing. I promptly bought it. It's really comfortable; feels as though it weighed ten grams. i'm keeping an eye out for another. I wear it a...

Re: Gonna have to carry a purse???

Some years ago I had an allergic reaction to I know not what (Happened at a beer tasting; I had sampled quite a few. Somebody wasn't observing the Reinheitsgebot ). Since then I have to carry an autoinjector about the size of a large cigar tube. Not something you want in a pants pocket. That made a ...

Re: Deteating ourselves --

Agree with the original post. In the stores I shop in (in the US), I have seen a small number of socks marketed as 'unisex', labeled with both men's and women's sizes. It makes no sense to me that socks should be 'gendered' at all, but that is the case. Other than that, articles are strictly 'gender...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

Cool day today, 0 C (32° F), so I wore knee socks with a black denim pencil skirt and white sweater. Picked up a few items at the local hardware store just before closing. I was the only customer, and chatted for a while with the owner (I've been his customer for decades) about the weather, the wild...

Re: Would You Wear This?

I have this t-shirt dress, from ASICS, bought at a local store. https://i.stpost.com/asics-t-shirt-dress-short-sleeve-for-women-in-porcelain-blue~p~569cp_03~460.3.jpg I wear it as a 'nightshirt', meaning I put it on in the morning, since I sleep in the altogether. It's extremely lightweight and soft...
