Sounds like a desirable kilt. I got a poly athletic kilt Matt finish with sides and it is my lightest kilt. Not to stylish but practical around the house. I like the feel of a light skirt too.

Cost is a big issue and all my kilts have been from eBay or craigslist. I must say the time it takes to make a kilt would justify the cost if paying a living wage and not mass productions. Marketing, wages, rent, materials etc. Add up. I don't think anyone is getting rich on USA made kilts. My wife ...

Been wearing Utilikilts for 2 years now every day after work and weekends. Love the pocket design on the Survival and the Mocker best but do not care for the new Switchback design. Looks very practical to me. Lots of good features. Love to see the whine colored one too.
