Re: Friendliness
I have noticed the same. When I am out skirted or kilted people seem to be nicer for the most part in my opinion. I always felt that but since the mask wearing started it even seems more so. Maybe I generally don’t have a pleasant look on my face and now that it’s covered people are more receptive o...

Working in a skirt
Hanging some new house lights today. I can’t wear a skirt or kilt where I work but I try to do so most of the time when I am not on the job. I have a couple of denim skirts that I wear most everywhere during the summer. This is one of them. Would like to see more pictures of guys wearing skirts in t...

Re: what styles do you guys recommend?
I have a couple of skirts where I did a jeans to skirt conversion. If you can sew a little it is a pretty easy project. Those are some of my favorites. You get a great fit, you have all your functional pockets and you can tailor the length and the a-line to your liking.

Re: Turn up skirted for the first time
I guess my my reference would be you are someone that everyone is going to notice but may not engage. After I take that first step at conversation I have found that most people are very conversational and positive.

Re: Turn up skirted for the first time
I wear skirts out quite often. A skirt on a guy is like the 800 lb gorilla in the room. I will often say something like "Man it is great skirt weather today!" or "Its so nice out I decided to rock a skirt today" A general comment seems to put the person at ease and we can get on with our conversatio...

Re: Pandemic Shutdown Skirting
Not sure it is pandemic related but about the time the shutdowns started is when the weather got nice for wearing skirts around here. I wear kilts mainly in the cooler months but I switch it to more mainly skirts in the warmer season. This year I have been full on skirts daily. I have to wear pants ...

Re: Do you have this stone washed denim kilt?
Good to know that it does have the jeans style pockets on the side. I was a little on the fence with the stone washed although I do have a couple of jeans to skirt conversions that are regular denim so the stone washed would be something different. I may check with UT Kilts and see if they would do ...

Do you have this stone washed denim kilt?
https://scottishkiltshop.com/stonewash-blue-denim-kilt.html Does anyone have this particular kilt from Scottish Kilt Shop? I have another denim one that they make and I am happy with the quality of it I just didn't care for the pocket arrangements. This one looks like it has side slash pockets like ...

Re: New men's skort company SKORTIFY
I tried this look at the gym this morning on the treadmill. I had on compression shorts a few inches above the knee and a gray running skirt over them. I was comfortable with that look. It was a little much having the compression shorts and the shorts that were built into the running skirt but that ...

Re: New men's skort company SKORTIFY
I agree also these would be better if the shorts were shorter. I would still maybe consider these as a different option for running or walking. I am generally wearing a skirt when I arrive at my gym. I then change into what I am comfortable working out in. I sometimes wear compression shorts of that...

I have noticed the skirt related questions on there also as well as some of the other questions people pose. I will occasionally give an opinion or at least a thumps up to the interesting ones.

Re: Real difference between a kilt and a skirt?
What I find funny is other peoples perceptions of what each is. When I am wearing a kilt, especially a non tartan, there is a good chance it will be called a skirt by someone which doesn't bother me at all. I wore a Utilikilt to my dentist's office recently (my dentist is a women) and the first thin...
