Re: Ultra thick tights
Both of them kilts look great, great to hear that you had some compliments while wearing them. Tights are relatively new to me so haven't quite got the hang of which denier to wear depending for the temperate outside. So far, 100 denier opaque "body sensor" tights from Primark seem to work...

Re: Compliments
I had my first compliment today after paying for petrol (my first time doing so while skirted). On my way out, one of the members of staff said to me "I like your skirt, looks fabulous". Certainly a nice feeling when someone takes the time to compliment your outfit, don't recall it ever ha...

Re: How do you wear your skirt?
For me, it tends to depend on the skirt.
For instance, my denim skirts are worn at the hip whereas skater & tennis skirts at worn at the waist.

Re: Spain - Gran Canaria
I'm yet to visit Gran Canaria but have been skirted in other areas such as Costa Almeria and Majorca. Probably had the odd second glance but no negative comments from anyone. Wore a skirt for the majority of the time (apart from the journey there and back) and felt great.

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large
A couple of weeks ago I went on what I would consider to be my biggest trip in a skirt, consisting of: - Train journey down to Birmingham. - Various tube journey's round London. - A meal out. - A concert in the evening All went well, outfit I wore is a black tennis mini skirt(outfit 2 on my pics &am...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large
Been on a couple of more trips recently out and about in a skirt and tights (pictures can be found on my pics and looks thread), didn't really notice anything out of the ordinary, felt like any other trip out.

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large
Spent the day yesterday wearing a denim mini skirt along with a pair of tights. Visited quite a few places throughout the day including a local supermarket and shopping centre and no comments / reactions from what i could tell. My first time wearing tights, certainly feels different compared to bare...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large
The recent warm weather here in the UK has gave me the opportunity to break out the skirts again. I recently visited a number of places in one of my denim skirts (just above knee length) including a local shopping centre, supermarket, DIY store and out and about on a walk and didn't really get the i...

I quite enjoy wearing mini skirts but open to trying longer skirts at some point.

A Weight Off My Shoulders
Despite wearing skirts for a number of years now i have never actually told my Mom why i wear them, until today. I started off by stating the following points: 1. Wearing skirts does not mean that i an gay. 2. Wearing skirts does not mean that i wish to transition into a women. I then went on to say...

I think either a plain white or plain black t-shirt would work with that skirt.

Re: Bought a skirt, need help with shirts
That's certainly a nice looking skirt. Personally, i tend to stick to the following guidelines when choosing a shirt to wear with a skirt: - Try not to wear a patterned shirt with a patterned skirt. Things can clash otherwise. - Wear a similar colour shirt to one of the colours on the skirt. In this...

Re: how short can you go in skirts
My shortest skirt is 16" long which is probably the shortest i would go.
Think it's just about finding a balance between modesty and comfort, personally i would feel quite exposed in a shorter skirt.

Re: Summer.
Based on my observations so far, most of the women i've seen have been wearing shorts instead of skirts and dresses.
I'm wondering whether this is just the way women's fashion is going. There definitely seems to be less skirts and dresses in the shops compared to the past.
