Re: Hypothetical election questions answered....

When a candidate dies, the running mate can decide to run for office with a new running mate. That's what I think. Hypothetical: Biden dies, Kamala decides to go on with the show and chooses Hillary as her running mate. We will be following the upcoming US elections every day now. Next spring we hav...

Re: Wurlitzer Unit Orchesta

Wurlitzer did me think about jukeboxes not organs. We got a AMI from 1952 that was broken, the record player was beyond repair. We already got a Rowe AMI from 1981 the R88, that's a 200 selection jukebox. I started to remove de hardware from the 52 AMI, that was a 20 selection 78 rpm unit. I also re...

Re: Colour me pleasantly surprised...

Hello Skirt Cafe'ers, my introduction... I'm a 73 year old Western Canadian who has worn skirts about the house for years (having been blessed with a very agreeable wife who'd rather I was happy than conventional). Sadly she passed earlier this year and I am now "on my own" for the first time in al...

Re: Skirt Wearing by Women Increasing?

In the Netherlands the women I see, they all wear trousers. Hot or cold, trousers it is. Only the older women wear dresses and skirts, but only in the summer. I like the practicality of trousers myself, that's why women in the Netherlands like to wear trousers. But I do like the skirts when it is wa...

Re: Cafe lurkers need apply, please

I'm a transgender woman now.

I started out wearing skirts a couple of years ago, and I never had anything bad happened to me or my wife when out in public.

You look fabulous sir. I wish a lot more men would dare to wear clothes from the other side of the aisle.

Look not for comfort .
For comfort I use Skechers (the ladies models) Shoes with high heels I never wear them unless there is a reason for it. Like Christmas diners.

I agree that the skirt should be wonderful to wear and additionally it can be nicely integrated in masculine look!
Only missing things are pockets, as usual.
Or they look as pockets, but they are not usable.

Re: Dresses marketed to both men and women

Nobody mentions Skirtcraft.com ? I love the skirts they make. I own 4 Unaligned skirts. These skirts are really unisex, and with $79 not too expensive given the fact that it is not a mass production skirt yet . I'm a transgender woman and I wore those skirts as a man in public for almost a year.

Welcome BlueCheese

Iceland is very beautiful. I've been there and I want to go back there. I'm a transgender woman and I was used to wear skirts in public when I was still a man. Happy skirting.
