Re: What do you wear on your legs with skirts
Nothing, not even hair. Skirts are about comfort. Why destroy that with any kind of leg wear that can easily to snagged? If it gets cold, just wear a longer skirt. Real simple.

Re: Above the knee or below the knee!
Eleven inches is comfortable. Your panty has to provide a necessary barrier when your skirt is that short. Preferably it should be color coordinated to the skirt.

Re: First Mini
There are various lengths of miniskirts. I started with a 19" denim skirt. Now I feel comfortable wearing a 12" skirt in several different fabrics. It is all a matter of confidence.

Re: What do you wear on your legs with skirts
Nothing. Not even hair. It is very easy to remain smooth with an epilator rather than by shaving. Bare legs get a much better looking tan. The feel of the sun & wind is far superior with smooth legs. Don't forget that women have even asked if they can feel my legs since they look so smooth. The ...

Re: The Math of Skirting
Likewise I wear a skirt openly without calling it a kilt when it certainly isn't a kilt. So many men believe that wearing a skirt that isn't a kilt will start them on a monthly menstrual cycle. That means that most such sexually insecure men aren't real men since it will take a lot more than a fril...
Re: Egads!
Skirts & dresses are indeed getting harder to find & more expensive. I suspected this trend 20 years when I started buying from clearance racks. The days of the quality skirt for three dollars are past. It is possible that some younger women won't even wear a skirt or a dress. The typical f...

Re: Stylist in a dress
How about a much more masculine looking yet stylish denim shirt dress? There are many dresses for those of us who are manly men with no desire whatsoever for a sex change. I have three African themed safari dresses with several deep pockets. Might not even look too bad with a tool belt.

Re: Above the knee or below the knee!
Two of my favorites. I own many denim miniskirts with or without pleats, front pockets, back pockets, belt loops, elastic waist, etc. Some are very short in length. Matching panty to preserve a bit of modesty. What is this looking good? I wear short skirts for comfort. I'm not asking for anyone's a...

Re: Swimming Kilt for men
A kilt by definition would to far too heavy and far too long to allow the wearer to swim safety without a medical incident requiring rescue. There are several skirted swim suit bottoms readily available for less than five dollars that are far more practical when one desires a skirted swim suit. Aga...

Re: What is a hobby!
I just get irritated when dealing with all of the irrational statements concerning kilts. They are still expensive, ugly & uncomfortable. Most skirts are much lower priced, more attractive & more comfortable with a far greater variety of ways to adapt to various tasks & weather condition...

Re: I am Pleased to See
I have never found an occasion where a kilt would be preferable to the typical five dollar skirt from the clearance rack. A kilt is much too heavy to be remotely comfortable during hot weather due to the heavy fabrics such as wool that differentiates a kilt from the other varieties of skirts. A tee...

Re: I am Pleased to See
Most definitely, especially if you are from the USA rather than Scotland. Variety is a good thing. Like you say, denim skirts of all lengths, pleats or not, pockets with zippers, snaps or buttons, belt loops or elastic, etc. tend to be invisible to the general public. Most people who have a life of...

Re: Skirt from Alloy
It is a great length for me. I have skirts that are so short that I wear a matching panty. Conversely, too much skirt can inhibit the freedom of movement. The choice of a skirt, shirt or dress is a matter of personal preferences, the activities planned for the day, the weather and the input from th...

Re: What is a hobby!
Does "NOT going anywhere near the doorway" imply that you are a "closet" skirt wearer? Around our house all of my clothes are happily taking a siesta within one of our closets. Cross-dressers are a puzzle to me since I can not understand how one of them could be happily married....

Re: Sightings "in the wild"
Any man who wants to wear womens clothing will be wearing jeans or at least pants. This is the 21st Century. Women haven't concentrated on a skirt or a dress in several decades. So if you wish to wear a skirt or a dress as I do on a daily basis then you would need to do it as a man. Female "wan...
