Re: Before I Wore Skirts I Never...

Actually I need to modify this topic slightly: Before I wore Kilts I never... Knew how cold in was in New Jersey in February until all the males in my family wore kilts to my sons wedding and we had to walk about 150 yards to the reception hall during 28 degree weather with high winds.

Re: My news

Apart from my ongoing "every three months" attack on my Actinic Keritosis (precancerous growths on my scalp), I survived an "Epithelial myoepithelial nasal carcenoma" back in the early 80s. In 2017 I had a 10cm X 6cm x 4cm growth removed from my sigmoid colon, which required a co...

Re: men in skirts t shirt idea

SUGGESTED T-Shirt ideas: Roman Gladiators wore skirts. Skirt worn with intent. Skirt = Comfort. Skirt = Freedom. Skirt = Ease of movement. Skirts are anatomically sensable. Skirts: Worn by men throughout history. This is a novel social fashion. Men in skirts, define moral codes. Men in skirts defeat...

Re: Hiking Skirts - Who Wears What?

Just like FLbreezy (above) I use Sport Kilt for my walking/hiking (sometimes running) Kilt. I have three so far. Two Irish related Tartans and a Lindsay Tarten - in honor of Mom.

I left the section concerning Brands blank, because I tend to avoid brand name clothing.

Re: Before I Wore Skirts I Never...

…..realized how a skirt makes climbing a ladder much easier.
…..experienced the comfort of bending in the garden without binding.
…..enjoyed the extra freedom of movement when jogging.
….. drove a far distance without pulling my boxers out of my @$$.

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

I met TWO men "Out and About" here in N.J. so far this year (2018). BACKGROUND: I rent an old WWI barracks at New Egypt Flea Market where I met both gentlemen. FIRST GUY--> he was walking down our main street wearing a green plaid Sport Kilt, I interrupted his stroll and shared with him pi...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

Last year, 1917, I came across two men in Kilts, one working in an antique shop in Columbus, NJ, and the second in a Flea Market in New Egypt, NJ. Both were wearing utility kilts and easily engaged in conversation. I showed them a photo of my son's wedding where all of my sons and I wore kilts.

Re: Guess I won't be wearing a skirt anymore

When I'm out "Kilted" the only restroom I use is "Mens", I've never had a problem. When visiting my daughters, one in Florida and the other in Ohio, where I generally wear a Sport or Utility kilt, and use men's restrooms, no problems. When visiting my son in Haleyville, Alabama,...

I've been away too long....

Jack Track is "gone?" I didn't know until just NOW. I loved reading about his exploits and seeing his photos. If anyone ever loved BLACK, it was JACK!! Although I live 8,917.25 miles away from his homestead (14,351K) I always felt we were kindred spirits. Good-bye JACK, "Till we meet ...

Re: How do you become skirt wearing

"HOW?" or more likely "WHY"??? My answer: One of my five sons wore shorts from 8th grade until he graduated High School. Years later, he had a Celtic Wedding, where he requested myself and his brothers wear Kilts...we... and most other male family members complied. Months after ...
