Re: What is your favorite skirt for flying and why?

Ive flown in my Utilikilt with no issues. Even with all the snaps, it did not set off the buzzers. It was interesting however, to note how reactions varied from where I took off, to where I landed. Nothing aggressive or rude, just less used to variation perhaps.

Re: Starting a line of skirts

You know, I would love to see a basic pencil denim skirt made for men. Something just above the knee. The heavier material of denim isnt to revealing, and if it is made with proper pockets, zipper, and belt loops, it would be a very natural progression from shorts. I wear a Utilikilt Mocker model of...

Re: Thank God for Utilikilts!

At a christmas party the other night, i recieved a lot of positive comments on my ensemble. In particular, my use of leggings instead of socks. I was as if nobody had ever though of that before lol. I wore camo leggings with my beige kilt. The other thing is length. Mine comes to just the top of my ...

Re: Thank God for Utilikilts!

This is an interesting Post. The manufactures claimed that this garment is a mans skirt.... With a lack of knowledge of the traditional Scottish Kilt, the purchaser assumes he is wearing a Kilt....It does appear to me that the manufacturer has mislead the purchaser into believing he is wearing what...

Thank God for Utilikilts!

For those of us still working on our own personal comfort levels skirting in public, Utilikilts sure provide a great icebreaker! I've been wearing mine for a year and a half now, in town, on planes, camping, whatever. With or without tights, or leggings. It has been a terrific outlet for me. The big...

Re: "Underwear"

I have been asked the question. My answer has been, "super sexy underwear!" This with a mischievous grin usually handles it without making the enquirer look to silly for an awkward question.

Re: Halloween plans skirted, kilted or other?

My wife and I went out Saturday. I was wearing a black leather mini with matching black nylons and leather jacket. We spent the afternoon shopping, finishing with dinner and a movie in the evening. We didn't do any parties , but it was sure was nice to be out in that outfit.

Re: Why do mens kilts have to look so masculine

I recently picked up a utility kilt. I find it a great way to be out skirted without having to directly face that women's clothing question. It seems silly , but I am still taking small steps with this. A few of my early forays were in denim or whatever, but at the time I didn't actually run into an...

Re: Feeling uncomfy

Hi guys , I haven't been around for awhile. For many years I was afraid to broach the subject of wearing skirts to my wife. I was terrified of how she would react to it. When she did find out , it was actually a growing experience for both of us as a couple. She was the first to find out, and final...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

I have to throw this out there. I have seen quite a few guys out and about in kilts, and even a couple of sarongs. The other day however, I saw a fellow in a fusia colored A line skirt with simalarly colorerd nylons, on a busy street corner, in Duncan BC. He was wearing a standard Jean jacket on top...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

I was in our provincial museum today with the family, where I made note of two separate guys in kilts. The first fellows kilt was a simple dark red color. Very cool. I was wearing leggings myself today, but I may have to order one of those Utilikilts for myself! There is also a window washing compan...
