Re: First outing in a while

I feel your pain. I can't figure out why people take a simple problem and make it so complicated that people like you and I get lost in it and can't find our way out. My wife is my savior on technical matters. She graduated college with straight A's and seems to be able to solve these things for me....

Re: Here we go again...

I save mine as a draft, then I know I can come back to it any time and can spend the time and effort to edit and clean up typos, punctuation, grammar, etc. I married an English teacher so you know I didn't have a chance. I still post some idiot errors, typos, etc. The ones that bother me are when my...

Re: Interesting article about the origin of Mary Jane shoes

The closest thing to wearing Mary Jane shoes that I have tried are Crocs, which I wear all the time. They are very comfortable and I can wear them in wet environments with no problem. I have wide flat feet and wear size 10 W shoes. I rarely wear anything else except hiking boots. I have dressier sho...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

I remove the inner shorts from skorts: A) easier to use the restroom B) the dimension from the waist to the inseam is based on female proportions and I like the waist to be higher. C) I prefer to launder my underwear after wearing for one day. D) I prefer certain styles of underwear for fit, support...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

I suggest anyone doing anything active such as bicycle riding, frisbee, running, walking, hiking in a skirt, to wear black underneath in case you flash. It is very unnoticeable.

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

Fortunately I have never had any form of cat calls or other harassment. Almost nobody ever notices my skirt. I brought my truck to have something repaired and then went to pick it up, walked through the place, paid the cashier, walked back through the shop and got in my truck and drove away. I am su...

Re: Skirt Wearing by Women Increasing?

Since I began wearing skirts my wife has been wearing skirts and dresses more often. Maybe it's contagious? She looks better in them than I do. It is very hot where we live and I like being the most comfortable man around.

Re: “I never joke about my work 007.”

Skirts are more comfortable and practical than pants. Does anyone know about microfiber shorts? Not underwear. In case someone has any modesty fears.

Re: Boy 8 told long hair has to go

During the early 70's I was rebellious and grew my hair long. It was always in the way and the wind blew it in my face. I cut it off for convenience purposes and continue to be rebellious. Now I am an unreconstructed rebellious eccentric old man in skirts minus the long hair. Now I can afford to be ...

Re: Childhood shout-out

We used to live near the San Joaquin and Sacramento rivers and black berries grow along the rivers for miles. We used to pick them from a boat and could have as many as we wanted. We made jam, pies, smoothies, etc.

Re: Hello from Belgium!

Try scrub skirts. They are cheap and very light weight and comfortable. I have mine shortened. They are often on sale online.
