Re: Postive Wife Support

SUGGESTION: Rather than wearing thick, heavy authentic kilts, there are plenty of informal light weight kilts. Living in California, not many people would ever criticize you for wearing a non authentic knock off kilt. Look up short plaid pleated skirt. I am sure you will find one that suits your fan...

Re: Exploring

I suggest going on a hiking trail in a skirt. No one knows you and no one cares. You can space yourself as far as you want to or you can be friendly. I like to ask people where they are from. We have visitors from all over the country and all over the world. I carry a camera and very often I meet pe...

What will you wear on St. Patrick's Day?

What will you wear on St. Patrick's Day?

I will wear a green plaid skirt/kilt (It's a skirt that looks like a kilt for all of the purists out there). I have a meeting that morning.

Ads for men's hiking skirts and kilts

I received three ads online advertising men's hiking skirts or kilts. Looks interesting for the future of outdoorsmen. Look up Men's hiking skirts or hiking kilts on Google. There is more male interest in hiking comfortably.

Re: Techniques you've used to get more men into wearing skirts

I think selling the idea of men wearing skirts or kilts should be directed towards women. A lot of women like the idea of men in skirts. I have never convinced a man to try a skirt, but I have had women tell me they will buy one for their husband. They think it could be fun. I get compliments and ot...

Re: Gonna have to carry a purse???

I bought a military looking shoulder bag from American Sience and Surplus. It has two outside velcro fastened pockets which are perfect for my iPhone and credit cards. It has a zipper compartment and a larger compartment for what you may need. It was low cost, well designed, well made, looks like it...

Re: Gonna have to carry a purse???

Falda Guy: I found a good deal at Kohl's on line. Short skirts with pockets, draw strings, and are light weight. They come on a variety of color. If you buy two the second one is half off. Shipping is lower if you buy two. They are light weight and comfortable. I carry a military looking shoulder ba...

Re: Dress Form - mens

A lot depends on what kind of skirt you want. Most of my skirts are straight up and down, but not pencil. Most skirts fit the female proportions and form. I had a few skirts made that were mostly a cylinder with the waist bunched up with 1" elastic. I prefer stretch fabric to allow more freedom gett...

Re: Skirts with elastic waist, pockets, stealthy design

I carry a military looking shoulder bag for wallet, credit cards, cell phone, pocket knife, keys, etc. The only things I put in my skirt pockets are hanky, comb, and keys until I am done loading or unloading my vehicle. My keys fasten to my shoulder bag. It is always fastened to a shopping cart when...

Skirts with elastic waist, pockets, stealthy design

I was looking at an online ad from Kohl's and decided to see what they had in skirts. I found a camouflage mini skirt with elastic waist band, draw strings, and lots of pockets. The style is straight so it resembles shorts and is above the knees. They offer a second one at half price and shipping is...

Re: Denim dress

I have two stretch denim skirts. The cloth is very light weight compared to jeans. I like the stretch material and have unlimited stride without needing to pull them up if stepping over a rock or a log.

Re: Pockets differences

Scrub Skirts: Scrub skirts come in various styles and brands. Draw string or elastic waist. The sources that I have bought them from are Amazon, Allheart, Uniform Advantage. They cost about $20, although I have seen them on sale for less than $10 which is the reason I have so many of them. They are ...

Re: Pockets differences

Scrub skirts have big pockets. They are made to hold stethoscope sized items. They are light weight, soft, comfortable, and inexpensive. They are often on sale and come in a lot of colors. I have several of them and have them shortened to above the knees.

Slip Shorts

This is especially for those who like to hike or walk a lot: There have been times when my inner thighs have been sore from rubbing on long walks or hikes. I have read up on what to do about it on back packing web sites and articles. Most recommend applying lotion or petroleum jelly. I discovered "s...

Compliments

I was at the dry cleaner yesterday picking up some clothes. The young lady at the front counter noticed my skirt, smiled, and said, "it looks nice." I rarely get noticed and people very rarely say anything. I told her how important her comment was and how she helped to make my day. I thought to retu...
