Re: Warning: Completely Unmentionables.

Jamoud so you wore a pad ain't no big deal. You do what you have to do. I have recently gone thru an enlarged prostrate with all the associated urinary problems . on top of that I had to endure 42 radiation treatments for prostrate cancer. In addition to always having a change of clothes in the car ...

Re: Sick Dog

Over the years I have had to put a couple of pets down. It is never easy.

With out trying to describe it you have to look at the dog and determine what quality of life he has. And make a decision as to what to do from there.

Like i said it ain't easy.

Re: Questions about english language

I was going to just let this go but I want to give it one more comment. There is a large blog on the cafe named I never kid about my job 007 in it there was a very long discussion about being classified and put into a catagory or group. . the context of the conversations boiled down to how it is lab...

Re: Questions about english language

Where did you pull this comment out of . I don't know of any rational moderates who have this opinion. Church of Trump members generally neither hang out with nor mingle with those who think differently than they do. That's why they're unaware of the opposition that comprises more than 50% of the p...

Re: Questions about english language

What I do find offensive is the way both it and the Flag of St George have been hijacked by racists and tight wing extremists to the extent that the loony left claim flying it is offensive. The same thing has largely happened in the USA. The far right has essentially hijacked the flag to the point ...

Re: Questions about english language

So Cr let me get this straight if some one says something that could be offensive to someone but you happen to agree with the comment than its ok but if someone says something that could be offensive and you don't agree with the comment than its cause for mention and concern I think with that you br...

Re: Questions about english language

[...]it was George Bernard Shaw who specifically said England and America. Just because somebody famous got it wrong once doesn't mean we should keep repeating it -- especially if others may take offence at it. It's worth bearing in mind that the UK has some similar internal divisions that the US d...

It’s Britain and the United States, not England.

I’ve told you before. Britain and England are not interchangeable. Do keep up.
There are many versions of this quote but it was George Bernard Shaw who specifically said England and America

Re: Questions about english language

Oscar Wild in Canterville Ghosts 1887 and most notably and Winston Churchill some time in 1943 stated that England and the United States are 2 Nations divided by a common language.

I guess that is still true.
