Re: NPR reporting style guide
In Swedish they did add a new construct a few years back: in between he(han) and she(hon) but it still feels weird both to use and read, it rolls oddly of the tounge. The s/he would be "hen", so its really pretty well thought out. Its probably only a matter of getting used to.. HI Seb Fro...

Re: Wear a skirt, be your own hero
The good old conservative UK is remarkably liberal and that's not meant to be labour a political point either.

I believe that I am judging them very correctly, so I will leave it at that.mr seamstress wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 4:19 am i do not believe you are judging these retailers correctly.
This discussion is leading us nowhere Mr S.

He puts us all to shame. He's out there being amazing and doesn't give hoot about the abuse he receives. He doesn't put me to shame BM. The dude is a performer and the beard/dresses combo don't harm his fan base. For that matter, neither does the abuse, for every bit of criticism there will be thos...

Re: Wear a skirt, be your own hero
This is exactly the point Stu. I wear a skirt, it's what I do, how I roll. That simple, no po faced angst and earnest Freudian based reasoning, I enjoy it. Now if the the next guy cares to try it, go ahead but either way, it won't really bother me at all. Can't say fairer than that now, or can we? S...

Re: MIni Dresses & Skirts for Men
Wise retailers will listen for all the profit they can make. Mr S, "Wise" retailers are perfectly aware of their current profits, their interest is in increasing them! The likely uptake for men in skirts will not achieve that aim because men who wear skirts are already buying them so ther...

Re: MIni Dresses & Skirts for Men
There are enough men and women here to form a pressure group to demand retailers show men wearing skirts and dresses on their.sites. Sorry BM, but you know how difficult it is to get a group that amounts to double figures together. Enough to form a "pressure group" that any sizeable retai...

Re: MIni Dresses & Skirts for Men
The mini dress on a guy is still very much alive and kicking. Climate wise, not an option for me just now, but in summer! As for coverage I agree with Al, normal underwear is not correct. I will add shorts of the "booty" variety. Not much different, but definitely not underwear. I want my ...

No this is in the whatever category.
I recall that ripped distressed garments got a pasting here in the past..
No criticism, just pointless as far as I'm concerned.

OK Mr S.mr seamstress wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2024 8:22 pm While Redbubble might be helpful or not it's just a matter of opinion.
On a matter of opinion, we can agree to differ.
I'd actually like to be proved wrong, but I doubt that I will live that long.
Oh, and I'd love a lift in an Amish buggy, cars bore me.

Hi Steve There is more than two dresses if you had search and there is more than one skirt. Please take time and search. The art work is from independent artist. If you are an independent artist you could submit your own work. https://www.redbubble.com/shop/?query=u ... search_box The above link sh...

Re: MIni Dresses & Skirts for Men
Hi Mr S
I have one problem, where's the element of choice?
The variety of prints is huge, but 2 dresses and one skirt?
In any case, the dresses are just oversized tee shirts so could really be for anyone at all and come from anywhere too.
Sorry, this is hype, not fashion freedom for men.

Re: Don't worry, most people know we're not trans
But, make no bones about it, "trans-*" has vastly more mind-share right now than MIS, and we need to remain aware of that. I consider it a compliment. Jamie, that's fine for you, but you have to be aware that not everyone feels the same way. I reckon that everyone should be a lot more &qu...
