Re: Don't worry, most people know we're not trans

But, make no bones about it, "trans-*" has vastly more mind-share right now than MIS, and we need to remain aware of that. I consider it a compliment. Jamie, that's fine for you, but you have to be aware that not everyone feels the same way. I reckon that everyone should be a lot more &qu...

Re: Heavy feet.....

Don't have them now, but I was a skier and those boots were not made for walking.
In all the years I owned a pair it never occurred to me to weigh the things, too late now.
Sobering thought.

Re: School Prizegiving performance.

May be the school has a progressive attitude to uniform policy Maybe not, the boys are wearing bona fide kilts, not kilted skirts. The school may have a progressive outlook on uniform but it is a a high status independent, not a local comprehensive. It's title is St. Andrews College this will expla...

This must be the Greg James who presents what sounds like a history programme for 11-year-olds on BBC Radio 4, Saturday mornings. "Greg James presents BBC Radio 1’s breakfast show" The R4 Greg James is a historian who wrote the Horrible History series for kids and he also hosts a podcast ...

Re: And this is still part of the problem..

I'm hitting the paywall too, but if the gist is that men are curtailing men's fashion freedom, then it's nothing new to me. In the main, any detractors that I have encountered have been of the male persuasion. There have been some women, but they are rare enough to make it surprising, men on the oth...

Re: Progress, not for some.

*I suspect this comes from the fact that men generally don't take to fashion when they are young, and that their fathers don't give it much thought or importance. The only way we change that is by breaking the cycle. I personally want to end all this hate whenever it's possible. I'm going to try ev...

The original poster needs, IMHO, to dump his 'girlfriend' as she is not worthy of him :!:

Al, love is blind I should know.
Put another way, none so blind as those who will not see.

Re: Treacher wore a dress to school

What I want is to open the curtains and let the light in. Before that we need a little encouragement. I want to reassure boys that it's ok to do girl stuff. It's a shame to miss out on all the fun of clothes because of perceptions of manliness. Could you say that parents would be willing to extend ...

No worries,
Superwoman, Batgirl and Buffy will come to the rescue.
Aided by the Doctor, of course.

Re: Basketball team ban because of their sex

What I find most amusing, are the non sports like darts and snooker, never appears to be mixed competition or ensuing controversy there. You're forgetting Fallon Sherrock who did well in professional darts events recently. I don't follow TV sports at all, but this proves the point. Games like darts...

Re: Basketball team ban because of their sex

My son is a martial artist. He trains males and females from about 5 years old. While they don't compete "mixed", they do spar. Weight for weight, a boy has no clear advantage based on gender alone, ability is the decider. What I find most amusing, are the non sports like darts and snooker...

Re: went out in a dress

Such a sweet couple Circa 1977, a dedicated follower of fashion. Crazy, heady days! A strange thought though, the catsuit is essentially a bifurcated dress. While I knew it was "different", I don't think that was in my conscious at the time. A dress by stealth, hidden in plain sight. I ce...

"Partitioned", are you a glutton for solitary punishment or are the parents just ultra persuasive? In any voluntary role, many people are only too glad to let someone else do the needful My wife runs a rainbow unit and lots of the parents see it as cheap childcare. Not getting involved and...

Yes, TM well done to you for getting out and about.
Dresses are highly versatile and practical too, really not a huge challenge for a confirmed skirt wearer either.
As for "all in ones", a piece of history,
