Re: SLEEP!
I do have sleep apnœa. But I use a device ( C-PAP ) to help with the breathing. It is basically an air pump that adjusts the air flow so that my pneumatic system remains as it should during the night. I sleep in a mask that covers my nose and mouth and have been doing so for nearly 27 years. My doct...

Re: Baking tip for the forum cooks/chef's
I have been on Metformin now for about 45 years and have just started to get some loosey goosey stools. Doc does not seem concerned and has not made any changes in my meds.

It is even worse now as I end up dozing off for 2 to 3 hours and then lay awake for several hours before dozing off for a couple of hours, repeat over and over until I decide the he!! with it and get up. I can be sitt...

Re: Rings and things - Men wearing jewelry
I do not wear rings at all never have. Not even a wedding band as at one time I worked around a lot of moving machinery. Also when I was in the US Air Force I worked on radar and aircraft guidance systems Both in shop and on the aircraft. One of my crew was jumping out of a cargo plane and caught hi...

Re: Baking tip for the forum cooks/chef's
This year I was going to get serious about baking, bought a stand mixer, baking trays and cake tins, cooling racks, icing spatulas. I made one batch of rather flat scones, oh and a Christmas pud, then found out that I am diabetic so it was all a waste of money, can't eat anything nice so pointless ...
Re: Peanuts
The Peanuts cartoons are always good for a lift in spirits. I really enjoy watching Snoopy fight the Red Baron.
Also how he always gets the best of everyone just by being himself.

Re: Baking tip for the forum cooks/chef's
A really neat idea to try!
I really enjoy baking so when the oven gets fixed (thermostat is wonky) I will try this with some strawberry muffins and chocolate cupcakes.
yummm yummm

Re: Pet Peeves:
One of my greatest is when sitting in a restaurant and enjoying a nice meal, a stranger walks up and leans over and asks if it is good. I have been known to use my fork for something that it is not intended to be used for at these times. Then have to ask the wait staff for another. :twiste...
