Re: Streetwear Footwear
I don't care at all of "expressing my femininity". I simply want to dress and present myself outside the cramped coffin sized clothing and grooming conventions for men, that is, what I call the "plain and ugly". And I'm sick and tired of seeing EVERYBODY wearing trousers. So that...

500 millimeter waist? That's tiny. In horse-and-buggy colonial units it's 19.7 inches

Re: Silly reasons for wearing a skirt.
Do you pretend to be a rocket ship several hours after you have eaten a lot of beans? :D :D :D If you go to a church where you come up to the front to receive communion, please don't have beans on Saturday night. You might falter at the altar. :D :D :D Beans, beans, beans, the musical fruit. The mor...

Re: So my wife got me a handbag for Christmas….
I have NEVER gotten any pushback whatsoever with my cross-body.purse. (Murse? UGH!).
And when I doll myself up I use mascara, NOT manscara.
Women are free to dress like.mem; it's time for men to feel free to expand their clothing and grooming choices to dress like women but AS MEN.

Re: Don't worry, most people know we're not trans
When I am out and about I get called "Ma'am" many time. I consider it a compliment. With my figure including a bust, hair 7 centimeters below my shoulders, and my usual attire of wearing a dress along with painted fingernails, I present like a woman. However, as my voice is bass, deeper t...

Re: So my wife got me a handbag for Christmas….
I have NEVER been hassled over my use of a cross body bag. I guess I must look enough like a woman so I am not hassled.

Re: So my wife got me a handbag for Christmas….
I have a black cross-body bag I wear no matter what I have on - such as a man's coat, tie, and trousers outfit or a dress. In the past I relied on pockets, which one time led to a washed cell phone. Now washed phones don't work so well. I also got sick.and.tired of picking up bottoms and having keys...

Re: went out in a dress
I wear dresses as my normal attire both in private and public, including shopping, church, and doctor appointments. I have gotten virtually no pushback at all. A dress is nice as there is nothing to bind at the waist and I don't have to waste time matching top and bottom.

I really wish the term "freestyler" would replace the.term crossdresser (English form) or transvestite (Latin term).

Re: Treacher wore a dress to school
If anybody told me to disrobe because (s)he didn't like what I was wearing, that would trigger a sharp response expressed in a VERY loud drill sergeant voice from me. Fortunately I have not had to resort to that tactic. My dresses are not flamboyant and my heeled shoes are mostly black. I think it w...

With pants, it’s grab this and grab that…ok to go! I like dresses as I don't have to match a top with a bottom. You just put it on! :D Here is a posting I put on crossdressers.com : "I had a very interesting experience today going to a doctor appointment today. I wore a long sleeve maxidress a...

Let's never speak this word again
A lot of times women don't recognize the double standard of clothing conventions. When I'm wearing a dress on Sunday mornings occasionally some women mention upon passing in a mild way maybe I should observe clothing conventions for men while wearing TROUSERS . I point out.to them the history of tro...

Re: Silly reasons for wearing a skirt.
Don't forget Andy Stewart's "That's the reason noo I wear the kilt". Every nicht I used to hing my troosers up At the back of the bedroom door; I rue the day - I must have been a jay I′ll never hing them up anymore - Because ma wife she used tae ramble through my pooches When I was fast as...

Re: Women wearing skirts
I have imagined older men tutoring younger women about skirts. Perhaps someday it will be a father's duty to teach skirtmanship to his daughter. If I had a daughter I might have been in a position to teach her how to walk with heels. I have read where young ladies having an awkward time walking wit...

Re: Women wearing skirts
I as a man wear dresses far more frequently than most women. There are plenty of times when I am walking at a local park or church events (other than Sunday mornings) where I am the only one wearing a dress. Fortunately the pushback has been virtually nonexistent.
