Re: Hypothethical Question

Carl (crfriend),

Why not put the slogan "Renounce the Renunciation" in the heading in this website along with an explanation of The Great Male Renunciation?

How about this for a motto: "Renounce the Renunciation!" ? I think that has a nice little punch to it.
And I'm doing my part.

Re: Hypothethical Question

Men of SkirtCafe, Support the your woke up in the morning and found by some miracle that men in skirts are the happening thing and that skirts on men are totally accepted and even encourage and welcomed by society. You will be lauded and exalted for wearing skirts that meet societies standards. Sou...

Re: Skirts are mind blowingly good

Yes heels and skirts are a magical combination. In my case, make that a dress. I don't mind the added height of heels, and dresses are a nice alternative to the traditional man's monkey suit (coat, tie, and trousers), especially if one attends a gravesite ceremony with the temperature over 38 °C/100...

Re: What are these knights wearing?

I am no historian so can't help you. However, I just wanted to say, where did we men go wrong? Skirts in bright colours, long hair, heels, they had it all. Now look at most men in 2024. (present company excepted) We have Beau Brummell to thank and the Great Male Renunciation. That coupled with men'...

Re: The boundary between skirt wearer and TV

Furthermore I do not have the desire to sound like a woman. There is Chesnekov's So not forsake me with an oktavist solo. There is an ending where it goes down to G1, three ledger lines below the bass staff that has to be projected over the choir. My dream would be.to.sing that solo down to that pit...

Re: The boundary between skirt wearer and TV

If you look at crossdressers.com . you will see that vast majority of members use made up feminine names. I am one of the very few that uses the true masculine name. I even designate in my signature block my preferred pronouns of "he, his, and him". It seems to me a crossdresser wants to p...

Re: What feminine items do you wear?

For all my feminine aspects I prefer to talk to my fellow men at church, even when I'm dressed en femme . And I don't think there are many women that sing second bass, down to C2, two ledger lines below the bass staff. I saw on crossdressers.com a thread where members felt like they had to get couns...

Re: What feminine items do you wear?

I enjoy looking good with wearing lipstick.and.eye makeup along with nail varnish (polish). I put those items on even when when I wear a man's coat and tie outfit. And I like to wear floral dresses. I DO express my masculinity by doing such things as climbing up on a roof to cut branches and limbs, ...

Re: Skirts, Pants, and Deuteronomy 22:5

Yesterday I wore a man's coat and tie outfit. And I saw most of the women wearing trousers, and in several cases, jeans. And for some reason black sneakers with white soles are common. That strengthen my urge to wear a dress with heels next week. As far as Deuteronomy 22:15 is concerned, women viola...

Re: Skirts, Pants, and Deuteronomy 22:5

Carl, I'm.not alone socially. I am a member of a warm and caring church congregation that accept me the way I am. I.look forward to Sunday morning where I may wear a dress and heels or a man's coat and tie outfit. And on Wednesdays we have a simple meal together and afterwards, choir rehearsal. I am...

Re: Skirts, Pants, and Deuteronomy 22:5

Good point, Carl. You can take estrogen as I do and have a feminine appearance, and God forbid, have your privates carved up to approximate female genitalia, and alter your voice to sound like a woman, but you will remain genetically a male. Gender disphoria is no joke as I have been afflicted to so...

Re: Skirts, Pants, and Deuteronomy 22:5

No, I will take a resurrected body in whatever way the Lord wishes me to have. It could be a lean muscular masculine body free of aggression and depression or a beautiful feminine body, or whatever. And I might be able to sing a high coloratura soprano down to the deepest oktavist range.

Re: Skirts, Pants, and Deuteronomy 22:5

The whole castrati thing is a dark bit of church history, that is thankfully over. While eunuchs are mentioned in Scripture, to my knowledge, creating more has never been officially encouraged as any sort of teaching. Rather, it was a barbaric work-around by musician's who wanted skilled, high-pitc...
