When I put on a dress and heels, along with nail varnish and makeup, I don't embrace femininity. Likewise when I cook or sew, I don't embrace femininity. The attire part is simply what I want to do as John and not some fictitious name such as Johanna. And the cooking and sewing are necessities. John
