Re: Incerun Dress

Next time you're in Costco, take a look at their 32 Degrees soft-lux dress. The only dress I've ever bought. I think I paid $11.99. Neat, understated, black, t-shirt top, knee length, elastic drawstring waist. It has pockets. They call it a dress; for me it's a tunic. https://www.costco.com/32-degre...

Re: First steps in tights

Who not skirted, I'm wearing leggings. New York Times ran a neat little article on Monday, April 18, page A3, by Vanessa Friedman in her Open Thread newsletter. It's all about how leggings have caught on, big-time and world-wide, as outerwear for men. Leggings have always been hovering in the backgr...

Re: Footwear News: Is It Finally Time to Stop Separating Men’s and Women’s Fashion?

I find Fendi's knee-length culotte-skirts and strap shoes acceptable.
But please, Footwear News, stop using the term "Mary Janes."
I have my Duckfeet Himmerlands and wear them everywhere.
They are about as unisex as you can get. I like to call them my
"Christopher Robins."

Re: First steps in tights

@Stevej180, it's not just sportsmen (in the sense of hunters and fishermen). It's pro football players, skiers, cyclists, joggers, anybody with an outdoors job (such as delivery guys, utilities workers, construction workers) who must work in cold weather. They are, for the most part, "out of the clo...

Re: Work skirts

I'm retired, and no longer need to worry about dressing up to go to work. For me, "work skirt" for me would mean a skirt that works for me. No fuss, no frills, comfortable and serviceable, knee-length, pockets front and back (no velcro flaps, please), plenty of belt loops, front button and zip. My e...

Hot, hot weather!

Abnormally hot through June and July here in southern Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. It's so nice to wear a skirt and feel free-flowing air through my vital parts. I now have more "freedom" than before, to enjoy my collection of skirts at more times and in more places. The collection hasn't chang...

Re: Pantyhose / Tights Reviews and Recommendations for the Taller Gentleman

I have been favorably impressed with WeLoveColors.
https://www.welovecolors.com
Good service on my one order from them, a "men's" department,
over 60 colors available, tights, footless tights (=leggings),
bodysuits (=leotards), unitards, etc. They're located in Florida.

Re: Naomi Watts' boy

This is a celebrity family, so they must live with paparazzi and gossip-hounds everywhere they go. One result is that you can find hundreds of pictures on Instagram, Google Images, etc., of Samuel Kai Schreiber and his family at every stage of his life. It won't be long before he will be old enough ...

Re: Men's Kilt by Dangerfied in stores

Is any U.S. retailer selling these Dangerfield products? Or has anybody in the U.S. ordered them from Australia? At the current exchange rate, one Australian dollar is 77 cents American. As for the itchy scratchy woolies, I noticed that G.Lieberman (normally a provider of men's legwear) is selling a...

Re: Defining Skirt Styles

As I noted recently, Skirtcafe is useful and educational as well as interesting and fun. Grok's links are especially good. These are examples of beautiful fashions, beautiful models, and beautiful photography, all working together. What I would find even more interesting is (1) candid, on-the-street...

For example, I had never heard of godet skirt.

Re: WSJ Article on Ballet Flats in men's fashion

Nice looking Groundies flats. I would wear these, but the sizes only go up to 43. I need 46. And the only color is black. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/424886546103433111/?rcpt=759490062068082417&utm_campaign=rdpins&e_t=614e521993e34b5384cfb8d4313005af&utm_source=31&utm_medium=2004&utm_content=42488...

Re: Nap Dresses for Men

A relevant article on nap dresses.
https://www.today.com/shop/best-mens-nightgowns-t197200
Unfortunately they refer only to "women's" nap dresses and "men's"
nightwear. But they clearly draw up a connection and an affinity
in how they are being used by stay-at-home people.

Re: Nap Dresses for Men

I had never heard of nap dresses so I had to check Instagram and Google Images to see examples. Nothing much different from "house dresses" in that they are loose and comfortable and cover everything. They would be street legal. I myself have worn things that would be barely street legal to step out...
