My First Mini - My OH Reaction "OMG it's Ugly"

When I tried on my mini she said "That's for young kids", "You're not going outside in that" and "You got ugly legs" Well what's with my legs, I didn't think that you cared how my legs look. I didn't know whether to be hurt :) or surprised. So I tried to come up with a ...

Re: Kathleen Meets Morgan

Much too rich for my blood also. I can see where the first two outfits could be a win for men if the tops were modified for a mans proportions. Add about 2 inches to the torso length and perhaps an extra button on the jumper. If you shop wisely you can find shops on Etsy that will modify an outfit f...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

Yesterday while paying for groceries at a supermarket here in Northern NH, I heard "Nice skirt" I looked quickly and saw a guy in a tartan kilt with his two young sons passing by me. I commented "You got nice taste" We had a good chuckle and went about our shopping. I was wearing...

Re: A New Approach to Explanations of My Skirt Wearing

SS If there is any possibility that you could loose your position running the chess club, I would first check with the schools headmaster. As have been said before, parents are very protective of their children. A skirt wearing man to many ill-informed adults illustrates devient sexual preferences. ...

Re: Cold Weather Outerwear

Thanks for the suggestions. Rick, a short motorcycle jacket would look good. I have a black thick Vanson motorcycle jacket. It feels like a "suit of armor" wearing it. Great body armor for my cycle :). I've tried on ladies cropped jackets. They look good but the arm lengths are too short. ...

Re: Need advice in Nebraska.

Hi DP in Nebraska
I would suggest contacting these fellows in Nebraska, http://www.thescottishsocietyofnebraska.org/ and wear your kilt at the next meeting. Maybe your wife and children have never seen handsome men in their kilts. Good idea would be to invite them to their next meeting.

My Towns Core Values and Tolerance(Not only skirts)

Hi All It's been awhile since I last posted but this topic(where we live) has a profound influence on our OTH and families acceptance of skirt wearing. Two years ago we moved from Southeastern Rhode Island/Massachusetts. I felt very uncomfortable wearing a skirt in public, lots of stares from locals...

Re: Little Great Kilt? Advice and opinions please.

Hi Max
Do an internet search for tartan straight skirt. It would have to be custom made to fit a mans frame, of course.

Re: Cheapo Ebay St. Patricks Kilt

Hello Max Kilt wearers rock!! I wear my tartan kilts whenever possible and like yourself get good reviews from observers. My wife purchased my first kilt(expensive), a handmade wool 8 yard McKernan tartan. It's the kilt I wear the least since it's too heavy for my favorite activities, hiking and Sco...

Re: How do you become skirt wearing

Greeting from New Hampshire It's good to find another skirt wearer up here where snow boots and ski pants have been the accepted dress code for the past five months. During the coldest weather, I wear my ankle length fleece skirt with ski tights underneath. I started skirt wearing about 5 years ago ...

Why I Don't Post on Cafe---Lurkers Invited

1) What's the big deal! It's just another clothing garment. Do we need a "Sock Cafe"? 2) They are all closet transvestites. They just don't know it! 3) A skirt on me looks 100% better than any I've seen on the cafe. I just don't want to appear negative. 4) I might loose my security clearan...
