Re: Olympics uniforms

Neither gender should be forced to wear something like that.

Joey, This person that hoveres around. Do they give you any external markers, the way they dress or act in any way that would suggest they are open to other clothing options, etc? Let's face it guys in skirts are a oddity and curiosity to most people. If there is a dead space in conversation and act...

Re: Boys skirting the issue

Again men/boys loose out. Again they are reinforcing subtly males don't wear skirts. Women wear skirts, girls wear skirts, trans folk. wear skirts. But No average male can wear a skirt unless he identify with one of the above categories. Make the skirt unisex, problem solved!!!! The basic kilted ski...

Re: Rethinking Lingerie....

I wear garments of any type sold on the other side of the aisle and I wear garments from our side of the aisle. I mix and match as I see fit. I'll leave it up to you to make any inferences. My wife has an inconsistent view of what I wear. Women's tops/trousers/otherwear without complaint and will r...

Re: Is it a case of the grass is greener on the other side of the aisle?

I probably have watched a few too many sci Fi shows, but on more than one occasion I have wondered that if there is a alternate dimension where everything is pretty much the same except I was conceived and born female. Would the female demensioal version of me, be a avid skirt wearing gal? I would l...

Is it a case of the grass is greener on the other side of the aisle?

I changed perspective on how I search about clothing. To that of the woman. It turns out there are alot of written by women, women's perspective bemoaning women's clothing not being comfortable, practical, simple. And praising men's clothing. Them praising some of the very thing's that we hate about...

Re: Skirt Dynamics

Oddly our office dress code is being tightened and shorts banned for all. What's up with that? It makes little sense. Of course none of this dress-code stuff makes much sense anyway... Nothing about skirts and no tights though, which leaves me fine yet my male colleagues don't seem to realise they ...

Re: Another Cornish skirtman

Welcome, cornish63. I'm another comfort rather than femininity skirt wearer over in Illinois, USA. I'll go for long skirts in cold weather rather than wear tights. I'll second that, me and Jim must be long lost twins, or brothers with a different mother. We are almost Identical except age and locat...

Yes welcome, glad you found us. Lots of years of skirted experience collectively here. Lots to read if you want, hope to hear more about you, and your skirted wild wood adventures. Hope you feel at home here with us.

I have been wearing skirts at home for 20 + years, then added kilts in 2015.

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

I finally have a decent out and about to report, with a picture, after all no picture, never happened, right? I wore my denim skort to the fair with a family member. At first I was nervous as heck. Would she notice? Would others notice? Would anything be said? I did sort of play cat and mouse by wea...

Re: LightHeart Gear skirt

I checked out the video and the website. There is definitely a guy in the video wearing the skirt. However the skirt is only listed on the women's side of the website. No skirt listed on the men's page. I like the look and style of the skirt. And 6 pockets!! But definitely the price is a non starter...

Re: A new gateway garment?

If you look at pictures from the 1970 there were some short shorts on both the men and women. This is just one of many pages https://www.demilked.com/mens-shorts-1970s-fashion/ Just Google men's shorts 1970 I was born in 76 so I don't remember some things until about 1981 82 ish. I think shorts we g...

I'll second that, way too short for man, woman or beast.

When his legs stick to hot plastic or a metal bench a few times. He will probably opt for a longer skirt.

Re: Skirts and legs casts

Actually I have given that some thought before. I hope I will never have a broken leg or need knee or hip surgery. I tore my meniscus in my knee about 7 years back. Currently it is not bothering me. Hopefully it will continue to be ok. In the event as I get older, it needs some work I will don my ki...
