Re: 5.11 kilts

I just went to the site with a link I have and it says page not found. So, they are Sold out!!! Last time I looked, a day or so ago, only sizes available were 28 and 30. I missed it a few years as I didn’t look in time. It comes out first week in April. This year, because I am a customer, they sent ...

Re: 5.11 kilts

I bought a 5.11 kilt several years ago and ended up returning it. Probably because it was waaaay too long. So, when I got the email from 5.11 a few weeks ago that this year’s issue was available, I bought 2. One in each color. I thought I would try again and see if they were any different. It is sti...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

I've been at one of our properties in Wilmington, the one we are partly reserving for family and friends, though not quite ready...and been skirted consistently. Even out to friends who had no idea. They didn't react, but who knows what they think? All I can do is hope it didn't matter to them, whi...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

Darryl, No but seriously, you're lucky you didn't get arrested. There are hoards of people across the land just itching to make an example out of a mishap like that and paint us all with the same brush of "perverted". Look at what happened to our friend in Valdosta. Moon, what are you referring to ...

Re: Bought a skirt, need help with shirts

I don’t have a shirt suggestion, but I DO encourage you to make the right SHOE choices. It’s humorous, until I began wearing skirts I never gave much thought about shoes. Now I have about a dozen pair. Good luck in yer search. Oh, and that’s a nice looking skirt you found. Like the zipper a lot!!! RG

Re: how short can you go in skirts

This is a 15 inch length. For me at 5’10”, and 125 lbs, that is the shortest I will go in public. And I am very judicious about where in public I will go with that length. RG That is a nice looking skirt, cheerfull without being floral .......... and a respectable length. I just realized, I think t...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

"... Range master said ‘That HAS to be a lot cooler’. I just smiled said yep and kept sending lead downrange..." Looking good... nice kilt! Where did you get it from? Also... are you wearing hose or tights in this pic? Looks great! --Rick It’s a Utilikilt. See my post above about the kilt. And yes,...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

^Looks like one of the newer Utilikilt designs... Kind of a combination of the standard and the neo-trad designs. I'm pretty sure that's what it is. Looks like the one they did just before the models they have now. Maybe they still sell it, not sure. If I'm not mistaken, it's a pull on, not a wrap ...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

This is what I wore today to go with a bunch of buddies target shooting. I thought it appropriate for the activity, and its was a lot cooler. The temperature was low 90’s and although the range is covered, it was still quite warm in the shade. The breeze did provide some comfort. I had only a couple...

Re: how short can you go in skirts

I am a towering 5ft-7" and usually wear 14" minis in public without any hesitation; working on scaffold on the main street, shopping and travelling on city trains at peak hour; I was standing on a train with most people seated and did not feel uncomfortable. I wear them low on the waist (on the hip...

Re: She said the ‘S’ word.....

Old Salt and Fred. Thanks for the posts. You both have good points, and well taken. I was just sharing that she actually acknowledged me wearing a skirt and said ‘Your SKIRT.’ Yes, the lil lady tolerates and I am fortunate for that. We just don’t have any ‘skirt’ dialogue. In fact, when I get compli...

She said the ‘S’ word.....

For a bit of background, i have been wearing kilts and skirts for 3-4 years now. Maybe longer. My wife tolerates me wearing but we don’t talk about it at all. (NOT looking for relationship answers here). I wear in public with her and am also conscious of appropriate settings and who we are with. Mak...

Re: New skirt for men by ZARA

Well, it appears this skirt may actually be affordable. But, I see not available in small. I am going to venture a guess that it is a ‘flyer’ to see if they actually sell any of these. But hey, at least they are putting it out there.
