Don't worry, most people know we're not trans

By "us" I mean the general membership here, I know there are a few members who do identify on the trans* spectrum. This post is not meant to invalidate those members, but rather, should be taken only generally. But I just thought I would share that in the nine years (ghee... where does the...

I'm 43 years old, I'm alive, and I'm content, happy, and satisfied with my lot.

I rate that as a success.

Re: Treacher wore a dress to school

It good news but boys will need to be encouraged to give it a go. Or have a skirts day then a shorts day. I believe people, (boys and girls) should be encouraged to be themselves, even if that doesn't involve wearing a skirt. ** Everyone should have the choice, and nobody should feel pressured into...

Re: Sensitive Training

I go to work to troubleshoot and repair restaurant equipment, not women.

That's why I love machines.... I can understand them. When my head is in a schematic or control box, I'm immersed in a world that makes sense to me.

People and society? Not so much.

Re: Basketball team ban because of their sex

What are the odds that somebody brought up Deuteronomy in the argument -- women shall not take up the things of men... I'd hear it from time to time back east, especially deep in the hills. It didn't happen often, but every now and then you'd catch an old timey preacher on a rant about " these...

Re: Treacher wore a dress to school

I think the school should not have suspended him, but rather told him he could wear dresses to school, but he must maintain a professional appearance Then what's the point of even having "spirit day"? Everyone should just wear navy blue jump suits... don't worry, we can let the virgin fem...

From the article: For changing my gender, I have been told that my pension has gone up because women get more to compensate for inequality. I also get 15 per cent more salary for being a mother,' he said. Wait.. what? Let me slow this down... "My pension has gone up because women get more [then...

Re: Skirts, Pants, and Deuteronomy 22:5

@mr seamstress, True, and I also shared in the concern (especially when I spent more time in a red state... THE red state (Tennessee) that got that crap started). But like you said, the courts are throwing it out because it is, after all, a violation of the one's constitutional rights. But to be fai...

Re: Basketball team ban because of their sex

Wait.... but...but.... I thought the BIG reason trans-girls couldn't be on a girl's team was they would have an unfair advantage...? Guess they want their cake and to eat it too. I've often wondered how society is squaring this whole sports thing with regard to gender.... Society: "Women and gi...

Re: Nuanced attitude to feminism in Gen Z

Bahhhh... it's just another tribe. No more or less evil than any of the other warring tribes out there... Just another group of people screaming and hollering about everything they see.

Best not to cozy up to tribes in general, they'll turn on you at the drop of a hat.

Re: Girls in Sport.

What a crock of crap.

Seems the only thing left to do is ban boys from playing sports. That should fix the problem.

On an ironic side note... in another 10 years girls too will start being pressured to "be a man!"....
