Re: Fashion advice (of sorts)

For myself,

I wear sarongs, some skirts and utility kilts, but shirt always untucked.

I generally want to appear as masculine as I can.
While I have long hair (not as long as kilted John), I still want to appear as "don't stuff with me" male as I normally do, in a completely non-aggressive way.

Re: Gas prices...

Been down as low as $1.18/L in Brisbane, Australia in the last couple of days. Haven't seen it that cheap for a while. Last week while we were in New Zealand, it was a whopping $2.01/L!!!!!... $AUD1.00 has dropped to around $US 0.60 in the last 2 weeks or so, and $AUD 1.00 = approx $NZD1.02 at the m...

Re: Corona Virus

When we get through this... Remember your local small businesses! They're getting hit the hardest, in my travels at work I have dealt with scores of mom and pops, and they're nervous as hell. They are all cautiously optimistic. I just completed a service call for a great little sandwich shop... the...

Re: Corona Virus

A bit of fun with the current world issue.

We all need a laugh, not to belittle the gravity of the situation for some. Keep your head up and smile!

Re: Postive Wife Support

Hi jamesy, Good to hear from you after a long time without comment, and great news that your better half has come around to your wearing skirts, after her initial suggestion. You say that you've work a kilt recently? wondering if you've work tartan or utility modern kilts...I've seen a few guys arou...

Re: Water!

Speaking of water, we're expecting the remnants of cyclone Esther to give us a bit of rain over the next couple of days. More rain forecast later in the week as a tropical low brings us lots of rain. We need to get a lot more rain, our dams need a good filling after two or 3 dry years. Its all part ...

Re: Comment from new plumber!!

Last Friday we had a maintenance guy come to our office to do some repairs, I was wearing my green utility kilt that day, he came in, I said Hi and introduced myself, he did a half second double glance as if to say "you don't see that every day", but made no comment, and not any other second glance,...

Re: Gonna have to carry a purse???

Pockets? That's another reason I have a couple of utility kilts, pockets are not only included, but can carry keys, wallet and mobile phone without any issues. Fashionable? granted, you don't see very many other blokes running around wearing them, but I have seen another 5 or 6 blokes in utility kil...

Re: Happy 39th Birthday Moonshadow!

Happy birthday for the 27th as well from downunder, hope you had a good day and it wasn't too cold in your part of the US.

Many more years ahead for you too, you're lucky to have a supportive wife with Jenn as well.
BTW you've got 8 years to go to catch me and I'm still young!

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

Was at the movies on Tuesday evening, we were waiting for the rain to stop (welcome thunderstorm) afterwards when a couple walked in, the guy wearing a black utility kilt. My wife noticed him, and pointed him out. He was on the phone while his partner was buying tickets. I was wearing my green utili...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

Spotted a guy last night while I was on the roof of a 13 storey building servicing some radio transmitting equipment, wearing what from some distance (probably close to 100m) looked like an ankle length dark brown skirt. I was on the phone and I just looked down and there was 3 people walking along ...

Re: Software Upgrade

I have to be honest here, while I like the new look, it's only filling the centre part of my screen, which is very strange.

Is there a way of stretching it out, or will there be anything done to default it to full screen?
Or is this a browser specific problem?

Re: How old were you . . . . ?

For me, I think I was probably 14-15 or thereabouts when I started to be interested in skirts, but around 25 I actually bought a lavalava when I was in the Solomon Islands. Nowdays I have a couple of utility kilts and often wear sarongs around the house especially during our 6 months of summer which...
