Unique, handmade and cheerful (and a mini skirt, Yay!) at less cost.

Re: Unique fabrics

They are cheerful which is always a welcome attribute these days but us menfolk can be unique by wearing a common and garden dress, at a fraction of the cost.

It’s great to see these appearing more and more.
Yes, it all helps those with unsupporting partners.
The striped, pleated number is OK but seems a bit silly wearing pants underneath.

Re: To the progressives here

I have heard reports that the electrical systems of some parts of America can become overloaded during a heatwave because of the power taken by air conditioning (no idea if that is a general thing or just a freak one-off). Same in Australia, the highest power usage is on hot days but at least it c...

Re: Corona Virus

I do think there has been a bit too much thread drift.
Those interested in pursuing debate on political and economic disciplines, please start a new topic and try and keep to a sensible, informed and respectful manner.
That way, those who are not interested can avoid it.

Looks like an apron to me. At least, it has good pockets
It is an apron if trousers are worn. I quite like the style but I wouldn't be wearing pants with it ....... just normal underwear.
Note that the guy is portrayed as being too incompetent to do up the shoulder strap ........ or is he Tarzan.

Re: Fun buying a skirt

Certainly a funny interaction at the checkout.
I can't help thinking of ridiculous responses to "You do know it's a skirt don't you?"

Wear a skirt next time and it will avoid silly questions.

Congratulations of going from size 20 to 18 and good on you for your voluntary work.

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

she said, "thank you Ma'am, or Sir..." as she entered. I too was 'gob-smacked' as I'm six feet of bald bearded clearly male personhood with hairy legs I think she was trying to be courteous but wasn't sure if you were a failed transperson or just a guy in a skirt. I had a similar experience with an...

Re: Skirts’ Demise?

Perhaps they might come back sometime in the future, like vinyl records have.
I have a good collection of both; the records I will sell and the skirts I will bequest to a museum.

Re: Revealing skirt wearing

After reading the title of this thread and the beginning post, I had to do a "double-take", smile and get my mind out of the gutter. I thought what kind of skirt wearing would cause revealing of the body :?: Yes, I was about to contribute with a pic .......... that would have been inappropriate for...

Re: Revealing skirt wearing

I started wearing shirts last November just to hike in. It only took a couple months for me to get comfortable in a skirt. Now its about all I wear anymore. I now have over 20 skirts. It is great that you have got to that stage of skirt wearing. Think of all the time we have been missing out but be...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

She said a few other things about a support group and tried to hand me a business card. I said thanks but I'm not interested. Then, as 'she' turned away from me said, "Cute Outfit" and walked away. I was gob-smocked for quite a bit........ Sounds like she was trans herself and felt sorry for you be...

Re: Hello from a new member

For an active male I found the hem circumference one of the biggest limitations when, for example, stepping over a log and the hem goes tight, not good and looks ugly or plain daft. I like freedom at the hemline so the skirt does not inhibit mobility and I am currently enjoying pleated designs. Tha...
