Re: NYPost: Another Article about Mens Skirts

I have 3 holes in each ear lobe. I currently have 3 graduated silver ball studs in each ear. I love them. Jeff, the piercing routine isn't bad at all. Just go to a knowledgeable piercer. Do not go to a mall or jewelry store to have them done. And don't have more than one hole done at a time per ear ...

Re: Of heels and a skirt

I go to Nordstrom Rack occasionally and rarely find anything that I like and will fit. I need a womens size 13 wide. They are far and few between. I have bought 3 pairs of shoes/sandals there over the last few years. But that was with about 2 dozen visits over the same time period.

Re: Sumptuary Culture

First thing I noticed: The female model is awfully flat in the chest. I have noticeable chest mounds (40 DD). If she went topless in the prudish US on a beach she would likely be arrested, but I could get by wearing trunks and being topless since I'm a man. I also see around her chest area the skin...

Re: Honorifics

I work for a company that employees approximately 500 people and does approximately 12 millions dollars worth of business monthly. I call my immediate supervisor by his first name as well as his boss who is the department head. In fact I passed our CEO in the hallway and used her first name as well....

In high school I had a chemistry teacher who would call attendance backwards sometimes. It was a riot. He was very good at it.

Re: Honorifics

When I first moved to Sweden, I was struck by how absolutely everybody called me by my first name. My physician, dentist, masseur, bank clerks, officials - everybody. They don't ask first, either, they just assume. That doesn't happen in the UK and it was a bit of a culture shock. To be honest, I p...
