Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

I wore a denim skirt when out walking in the country for a couple of hours today. Its basically an A line style which goes down a couple of inches below the knees. I meet a few people, most greeted me as they might if I was in normal male attire, one or two seemed a bit bemused, and one was possibly...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

Last weekend I gave my Skirtcraft Aquarious skirt its first proper outing when I wore it to the Severn Valley Railway. No one passed any comments or, so far as I know spent any time staring at me. John Photos would be nice.. Both of you and the railway.  As requested. No selfies were tak...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

I saw a man in a fairly short skirt and tights (or stockings) at Craven Arms station yesterday.

Re: Skirtcraft Aqueous Skirt - Delivered !

I received my Aqueous skirt today. My wife hadn't been impressed when she found out the price from a credit card statement, and was less impressed today when I had to pay £20 in customs charges when I collected it from the sorting office, not Skirtcrafts fault. Those negatives aside I'm very happy w...

Re: Skirt Hunting in the Charity Shop

I had some success finding a skirt at a charity shop recently. I found a rack of just just inside the door, and soon noticed the skirt in the picture. It has one zipped and one open pocket on each side. It still had all the labels on it, and seems to have gradually been reduced in price from £30. I ...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

Please can someone give me the sterling rate for $ 16 .....I would expect to pay £15 per hour. ....one problem might be the lead time for completing the required work.....I am now getting exited regarding the idea of having a male style skirt made to my requirements. It takes 20 hours to hand stitc...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

...Is this a general comment for sighting in the wild or do the sightings of male and female wearing the skirt for leisure vary from region to region ?.... I'm sure it varies by region but I, for one, have been seeing fewer men in skirts or kilts and more women in skirts and dresses. The women are ...

That type of skirt is what I sometimes use, for the same reason as you.

Re: What Is the Lure of Skirts?

When I tried a simple wrap around skirt, as quick cover up when going nude rambling, I realized how comfortable they are to wear. From there came the thought that why shouldn't men be able to choose between trouser and skirts in the same way that women do.

I've just had the fastest Ebay delivery ever! Ordered on Tuesday evening, a little after midnight, and it arrived today, Thursday. And I love it! Disappointingly poor quality photo follows, with apologies to all haters of graininess. I think I will replace it with a decent snap when time permits. _...

Re: Sainsbury's stretch skirt

Let's see if this works...if so, thanks for the advice Fred https://i.imgur.com/Cn02Qd3.jpg The necessary agility is required as shown to the left in the photo below. I'll sort out some railway photos for the off topic section - when I get a minute. Also I'll try to reduce the size of these things....

Walking through Horsham yesterday I noticed a tall thin man, in a beige mini skirt. The skirt was plain straight forward design and he looked quite good in it.

Re: It's happening

At Chippenham Folk Festival this weekend nearly every dance I attended had at least one man wearing either a kilt or a skirt; in some dances there were four or five of them. Some of them were youngsters and they really looked good in long elegant skirts. Charlie was there in his fabulous long purpl...
